Hello guys and girls. I'm about to purchase a 2012 C63, and I can't decide on which color to get. So maybe you all can help me out? The two colors I was thinking about is Magnetite Black Metallic with black and red leather, and Sapphire Grey Metallic with the same black and red leather. Also if I get the P31 package, do you think I should get the LSD kit? Thank you all for your time.

 

Black or white, safest bets and look the best. YES P31 get LSD, if no LSD you might as well not get development package

 

Color is all personal, but the retro two tone interiors are very slick. The darker the color the dirtier it gets. If you get the P31 absolutely get the LSD.

 

I personally don't like the red and black. Maybe works on the US market but not here at least. It would be horrible to try to sell in the future. Steel grey when it comes to the color

 

what's the pro's and con's of not having the LSD with the P31?

 

Cons - it cost more money and requires additional maintenance
Pros- Lets your back tires hook up. Puts all that power to the ground. Better in curves. Well worth the money. Don't think twice about it.

 

well i made up my mind, magnetite black metallic and im getting the lsd.

 

All cars should come with lsd stock. Yes, even Smart cars.

 

Did you have any luck finding photos of sapphire grey cars online? I found some photos of what I hear is the Euro-equivalent, Alabandite grey, but nothing specifically confirming them. Alabandite in photographs looks much more intensely green than it looks on the configurator on the German Mercedes site.

Can't go wrong with Magnetite though. Congrats.

 

White, Silver, Gray, Red are nice colors....Black is a full-time job!!!

 

Black is always a guaranteed bet! It does, however, take a lot of work to maintain. A clean swirl free clean black car will look good anytime any place. I've had a black BMW, black C320 and 2 black AMGs. If you're willing to put in the time and effort to maintain it then by all means..
