Eisenmann finally arrives for the C63 AMG!

Working with Eisenmann GmbH is in many ways a double edged sword. As a factory supplier to Mercedes AMG, Eisenmann has access to technologies and testing equipment that is completely unavailable to most exhaust system manufacturers. Eisenmann’s engineers are scrutinized by AMG’s staff to the strictest standards making Eisenmann staff true masters of their craft.

These gifts also come with a measure of responsibility that most exhaust manufacturers are never forced to contend with. Eisenmann is contractually forbidden from manufacturing performance exhaust systems for cars that are already equipped with an Eisenmann exhaust system from the factory. Each contract is different, but these contracts with AMG prevent Eisenmann from servicing the AMG enthusiasts they know and love.

Occasionally, an exception can be made, and IND is proud to introduce one of the most exciting exceptions to date! Eisenmann has just announced their completed prototype C63 AMG exhaust system.

Like all Eisenmann exhaust systems, each C63 system will be assigned to a single individual for fabrication. One technician will build his assigned exhaust from beginning to end, and stamp their initials on the name plate after inspection of the exhaust has been completed. Each system will be available in a Sport sound level for a subtle and discreet driving experience, and a Race sound level for a true AMG roar! Eisenmann has equipped the C63 exhaust system with their traditional 120x77mm quad tips for a classic look.

Please contact Eisenmann North America for additional information.

This is going to be just replacement mufflers, or is there different pipe sections available?

Yes, please. Would be nice for a new exhaust with better sound and power, without retuning...lets hope Eisenmann can pull through. Or have MB flash their tune! For free of course, since it's OEM, lol.

I remember asking you guys about the exhaust a couple of weeks ago. Cant wait to hear what the race is gonna sound like.
So the exhaust is going to bolt on to the mid section? Meaning its going to bolt on using the stock resonator clamps?

Eisenmann does not produce the C63 exhaust system. They do however make the system for the SL65 Black Series, and Im sure they make it for various other AMG models.
Sebring makes the stock C63 exhaust system including the resonators and mufflers.

Are you sure?

I remember there was a discussion about it that it was Eisenmann that makes it thats why they never offered an aftermarket system

This email was from 2009 when I was asking Eisenmann do they have a set

Greetings,

Eisenmann will not be offering a system for the W204 C63 since they are an OEM manufacture for AMG. Please let us know if you ever need anything else.

Your email in no way refutes AMG's assertion that Eisenmann doesn't make the C63 exhaust.

I have also E-mailed them and I did get the same response, But the C63 exhaust is not made by Eisenmann. If you look underneath the OEM C63 mufflers there is a Sebring stamp on it, including the resonators.
I was actually confused about this as well since they make performance systems for the W211 E55/E63, SL55 and CL55 models. So I was thinking why not for the C63?

Nevertheless I'm very happy they are starting to make the C63 exhaust.
I have a feeling its gonna be one of the best sounding system on the market. Even better then stock!!

Same here! Im really anxious to see the whole system.
I would most likely pull the trigger on the race exhaust depending on how it sounds.

Looking at the Eisenmann system for the C350 the whole system bolts on to the OEM mid section (2ndary cats) using the stock resonator clamps. If its similar to this im pretty sure that the system would bolt up to LTH's.
Wont know for sure until the system comes out.
