This is in the same range as a stock C63 (detuned) ofcourse.
this is a completely stock US spec with the emmision restriction and the air intake restriction.
I had my intake replaced with carbonio and piper-cross filters and the primary cats deleated with an ECU remmap.
with MHP or OE tunes the C63 get in the 11s easily due to the weight advantage

An untuned C63 (Stock) can and does run a 12.2 Maybe better.
Tell me something I dont know, We all know what a tuned C63 can do with OE and MHP tunes.

I dont know about the MCT burnouts, but I do know that MCT shifts quicker and handles more torque
The MCT in the SL63 is actually different than the MCT being released in the twin turbo M157 engine. The internal parts show some differences, so I'm not sure the MCT you have can handle the same torque that the MCT paired to the M157 can. At the AMG Driving Academy, we got to drag race the SL63 and W212 E63 both of which were equipped with MCT and both had problems at the burnout. Their launch was weaker than the C63 and CLK63 BS.Originally Posted by jacob502
Its true. with equally modded Sl an C. The C has the advantage, due to the weight diffrence. I dont know about the MCT burnouts, but I do know that MCT shifts quicker and handles more torque

A stock SL63 @ dragtimes ran 12.54. and that is a US spec with restriction.
The DA at the time was 1800 ft, so his times would drop to about 12.6 which is very close to the one on dragtimes. For some reason, the entry on dragtimes does not show the timeslip, date of run, location of the track, or any other info about the run. For those types of entries, I usually don't like to include them as they maybe incorrect Originally Posted by jacob502

From a roll, your car definitely has a good chance due to the MCT and bigger inlets Originally Posted by jacob502

When you say "inlets," do you mean the tube from the box to front of car and/or the airbox bottoms?Originally Posted by MB_Forever

Exactly. Notice how he suddenly got "Nice" when he realized the people with actual track experience were about to expose him. I figured I would get at least one more BS reply. Guess not. Originally Posted by blownS

Kleeman.dk: "Up to 540 HP, 481 lb-ft," "prices start from only...$1595"
Eurocharged.com: "540hp...494tq".......$850.00*
(website states "software and handheld group buy?")
OETuning.com: "538hp, 500tq".......$995 (+$200 for handheld)
Modernhorsepower.com: "545HP/502lb/ft*"........$1395
*93 octane
MHP boasts the ability to exclusively be able to adjust the transmission behavior, I read somewhere on their website, but now can't seem to find it? I may be completely wrong on this statement.
If the above research is correct,
Kleeman
540hp - 451hp = 89hp
481tq - 443tq = 38tq
89hp + 38tq = 127 hp/tq
$1595 / 127tq/hp = $12.56 per hp/tq
Eurocharged
540hp - 451hp = 89hp
494tq - 443tq = 51tq
89hp + 51tq = 140 hp/tq
$850* / 140tq/hp = $6.07 per hp/tq
OETuning
538hp - 451hp = 87hp
500tq - 443tq = 57tq
87hp + 57tq = 144hp/tq
$995* / 144tq/hp = $6.91 per hp/tq
MHP
545hp - 451hp = 94hp
502tq - 443tq = 59tq
94hp + 59tq = 153hp/tq
$1395 / 153tq/hp = $9.12 per hp/tq
Looks like Eurocharged end up being the best bang for your buck, although this is assuming these are the current prices, which could vary WIDELY, and does not take into account the actual performance times of the vehicles. PLEASE advise on more accurate values, and I will re-calculate.
