I couldn't help myself last night when an older Saleen mustang started tailgating me, trying to taunt me into a little race.
At the red light I switched to M and ESP sport and gave him a little taste.
I don't think he was expecting my car to sound like such a monster.
I can confirm the sounds are completely intoxicating.

It could be due to my location on the east coast, which may explain the earlier delivery. I don't know.
Looking forward to the torque! I ordered a fully loaded car except for Carbon Fiber interior and the Blind Spot stuff.

I ordered in mid July and my sales guy just told me that it's at the port in Germany waiting to get picked up. No ship info yet 
. It's been way too long! He told me I should have it in about 4 weeks

You being on the east coast definitly helps, it seems like it is roughly 6 weeks for delivery to California. My build date is the 26th but my car won't likely get here till around Dec 7th.

It's been awhile since I last posted. What can I say, I have been out driving everywhere and anywhere. I must say so far my favorite part of the car is in M mode the downshifting thunderous exhaust note she makes.. Gets me every time. Congrats everyone who ordered or received your cars.

Went to the dealer today to turn in my c350. I asked my sales guy to check up on my order, it was built about 15 days ago and no eta or vessel assigned. How much longer could this possibly take?!?!

I asked mine today and he said it can take up to 2-3 weeks for a vessel to be assigned if you are unlucky.

Figure build takes 1-2 weeks for AMG. 2-3 weeks to be assigned a boat. usually minimum 3 weeks to a month "on the water" depending on if it stops anywhere else.
2 Weeks at the Vehicle Production Center in LA.
My goal is to get you your car by XMAS by expediting some stuff but that is just a hope...

CaliSun, not trying to get your hopes up too high, but my car went through the VPC in only 48 hours.
When your car gets on a boat, find out the vessel name from your dealer.
Track it via http://www.marinetraffic.com/ais/, when it hits the port call your dealer and he might be able to call down there to see if they can push the car through faster...
(you will know before your dealer does when your car hits the port, at least I did)

Thanks enochroot, I've got that bookmarked from when we were tracking yours through the canal. ;-)
I'm going to try not to be a spaz and call my dealer every day. Lol It helps he is super excited to see it so he checks on it once or twice a day anyway.

I just got a call from my sales guy with an eta: 11/14 and ship name: grateful leader. I looked all over the tracking site and even tried looking for ships arriving at the Georgia port.... No luck!!! The ships name doesn't come up

The name of the vessel is "graceful leader" not grateful. Hope this helps.

So don't be surprised if you keep refreshing the page 500 times a day and it looks like there is no movement

Sorry Ex_335i, I haven't seen anything about Uk lead times. I think the hardest thing will be getting the allocation for the options you want, carbon fiber and development packs seem to take some time right now if you want either.
