Hi Jerry
Not sure if these questions have been asked but out of curiosity, what are the differences between V2 & V3?
Has there been a software change?
New areas to tune which previously were not?
More aggressive tune?
Unlocked areas in the ECU which previously were not?
thanks

Just wanted to share with all that I did my Eurocharge tune last year for my 09 C63 and at the time I was already extremely happy but after reading about the latest improvements they made I hooked up with Jerry today and in 15 minutes he did my ECU update. I was somewhat skeptical because I dont do track and I am pretty happy with the power under the hood of my beast but I must admit that the re-flash is definitely worth it. The shifts are slightly smoother and when stepping on it and shifting at the same time the shifts are slightly quicker as well and there is more power too. Its not a huge step but I can definitely feel a difference.

If you get a chance, take it to "Mexico" and get it over 120. That's where it REALLY shows improvement. It's just doesn't stop pulling, and before you know it your doing 160+.

Let us know about any 2012's with the tune. I know engines are fairly the same, but was wondering about the changes in ECU affecting the tune.
Already thinking about modding before my car is actually here...
Good numbers so far!

CD is just an abbreviation... your cls63 may or may not have them in your car... the point of the CD is to remove the charcoal filter that's in there with your stock filters... it's greyish i believe... some say it provides more air and can give some HP.
i took mine out on my c63

you might have to do a search to see who all sells them... i think you can buy it from the dealer if you have the part numbers... and i think evosport sells them too
this thread should help some

there is also a company that you can send your stock airboxes to and they will mod it by cutting some stuff off... i forget the name... ttm or something like that

it's also an abbreviation
ROW or ROTW, Rest Of World or Rest Of The World.
meaning the stock air boxes that came with the cars sold outside of the US came with the less restrictive air boxes and no charcoal filter...
the cars that were made to be sold in the states have the slightly more restrictive ones and they came with a charcoal filter installed with the stock air filter... this is why you can purchase them from the dealer with the part numbers... so it's not really after market...

What other mods are you running on your C63? I am also frequently tracking my car, however at Road America.

I wanted to upgrade the brakes (rotors & pads) before I added any more power. I tried a few combinations but they haven't worked out, so for now I have no significant mods. Monticello has a very long front straight leading into a serious S-turn, so its full brake from about 145mph. I experienced serious brake fade toward the end of every 1/2 hour session and when I pulled in everything was smoking. Since then I upgraded to Willwood brake fluid and replaced the rubber lines with braided stainless. I'm going the track in a few weeks and I'll see if this helps. I think the main problem with the car at the track is it is very under-tired size wise and I can't comfortably carry the type of speed into the corners that other cars do. I took up track event 2 years ago and am in my late 50's so I will never be a great driver just go to have fun and compete against my own times and come home in 1 piece (both me and the car).
