New here, looking for a C63.
Hey guys, my name is Taylor and I am currently in the market for a C63. Have my mind set on an 08. Just wanted to introduce myself.
I am from Katy, Texas. I am 19 years old and work as a Quality Assurance Specialist. A buddy of mine from the last place I worked drives an 02 C32 and he is the one that turned me on to the AMGs.
I currently drive an 08 Mustang GT with a blower and full bolt ons.
My first question is, what options do I have as far as the width of the seats? Even with the lumbar supports all the way out, the seat is still too narrow.
Nice to be apart of the group!

Welcome to the forum, you will find great infos about this car here!! As for the seat, I don't think you can purchase an XL seat, unless u go aftermarket. U will enjoy the car otherwise.. Good luck with ur search!!

Dont write a M3 off so quickly. The e90 M3 is a 4 DOOR, price point for an '08 I imagine to be similar in the states to a 08 C63. Also whilst you're comparing for 08 year, the M3 has a superior gearbox, and interface (CIC) with better standard inclusions. Then again, C63 has the sweeter engine for day to day but we pay a weight penalty for it. Check out M3post. I went from a highly modded 335i to C63 AND LOVING the natural responsiveness of the engine at low revs which is something that aint so great in BMWs of 2008

I've just stopped replying back to those questions.
Back to topic: have you sat inside the C63 yet? I'm assuming you must be a pretty big guy if the seat is too small for you.
I wouldn't get the M3 either. Those things are dime a dozen. Everyone has one. The C63 is much more exclusive and it's straight up BEAST.

I had an 08 M-DCT M3 Sedan for almost 2 years and didn't even look at the C63 when I bought it. I guess I was becoming a fanboy before I even had one! I'm glad I went with the C63 this time around. I pretty much like everything about it better with the exception of the tranny. the m-dct tranny is much better. I'm not a track guy so I don't really care about that aspect of the debate. It's all about power for me.

Same here...and it's not just vehicle related events, it's happens EVERYWHERE by EVERYONE. Gets on your nerves after the first couple times.

I agree about the M class. It seems like alot of younger people have them. They also don't appeal to me. I like the C63 because it is pretty close to looking stock.
Good idea.

I love my car, but the seats are painful, especially if I have anything in my back pockets. The back is just OK, but the seat is brutal!
Thanks,
Joe

The biggest complaint I have about the C63 seat is that you can't recline it and take a nap because the side-bolster prevents your arms from resting.
