Spare ECU headed out to MHP!
With all the success I've had with my current ACG Stage 2 setup, I decided it would be interesting to see how the MHP v3 CDT tune compares. So after a very insightful conversation with Andy, along with timely and thorough responses to all my questions, I've decided to give him a shot at tuning my spare ECU.
I should have the tune up and running by Friday, and I'm looking forward to a fair, objective assessment of the results as they relate to driveability, dyno output, and track times.
I want to emphasize that my decision to explore the world of MHP is in no way related to any dissatisfaction with my current setup. On the contrary, I couldn't be more pleased with ACGSD and the performance of their Stage 2 setup. My ACG tune will remain intact on my original ECU, and the MHP tune will go on the spare. Depending on my impression of the tune, I may end up ordering the MHP longtube headers and midpipes to see how the complete S2 package fares.
More to come later.

Spare ECU was $1500 from my local dealer, and another $200 to have them VIN code it to my car. Also, they were very strict about my car having to physically be at the dealership for the part to be ordered and installed.

No particular reason other than to satisfy my curiosity of whether I will experience the same amazing real world results that others have with MHP products.

I don't, for some reason I thought you had one. But I think I can borrow one from a friend. Love getting actual data so Ill see what I can do, would love to get 60-130 times for both tunes. That would be FACTUAL REAL WORLD DATA!

Why wouldn't you? So many others have. Have Andy flash you the race gas file. You already have more than enough hp for the street.

I think his point was (and people mix this up all the time), to say something is "360 degrees different" - means it isn't any different... you've completed a circle and are exactly where you started. Well, other than maybe a touch of dizziness.

People like you is what makes this forum and community great. It takes someone adventurous to share results for the benefit of everyone. Hopefully with your new tune you should be able to help a lot of people with tune decisions.

Thank you. While I admit to trying out different setups for my own personal gains and knowledge, I am glad the community benefits too. I just wish my adventures weren't so darn expensive.
