MHP s2/Kleeman k2 reliability

Hey guys,
Considering getting one of these two options for my soon to be c63 and was wondering which, if either, was more reliable? I don't want to put one of these on my car, which will have about 5,000 miles, void the warranty and have something go wrong due to my modifications. Are both of these options fairly safe or should I be concerned about having reliability issues?

I was curious about this as well...more in terms of whether mods from MHP or Kleeman would void the warranty. I've never modded my cars in the past so I am totally clueless about this. My car is under warranty still and its CPO'd till 2015. I wouldn't want to throw it away if that's the case...

MHP tune murders Kleeman tune.
If your looking only to tune your car (tune only), MHP tune wont hurt your engine at all and its completely reliable. In addition, the tune wont be detected by your dealer. Therefore, your warranty wont be voided (dont tell them that you have a tuned engine and you will be fine)

That's awesome! I guess if I went for stage 2 from mhp they would notice. Tough choice, more horsepower or keeping warranty.

Except they may re-flash it if they do not know

While a tune may or may not be detectable, all the technician has to do is spend 10 seconds or less (on a C63) to pop out the ECU and the tell-tale signs of ECU tampering are evident.

since this is a re-flash and NOT a chip replacement, it’s not possible to tell..... GO with the MHP tune you will love it.....

if you are worried about voiding your warranty , then i suggest a nice set of wheels and call it a day . if you are looking to get some real power out of your ride , then might i suggest a flash from MHP . i can tell you from experience that MHP's goodies are top quality .

You could also set it up for LongTubes and tune for it and just do what I do, Whenerver I take it to the dealers, I set the exhust back to stock (will cost you though). Just remember dont let them update your ECU or install a new software on it, as it will eventually re-flash it to stock. You then would have to send yor ECU back to Andy to re-flash it. Dont worry the Tune is not detectable, the dealers will not need to touch your ECU and if they did, the tune is completely undetectable.

I definitely want some real power out of it! So to avoid the dealer reflashing maybe I should tell them? Do they normally reflash the ecu when they service the car?

Find a dealer that is mod friendly if you can...some sell Kleeman tunes as well..although I would go with MHP. It's usually better to be up front with your dealer, especially if you have a major issue down the line.

Question, some say some dealers will accept kleeman tunes.. but what about other ones?

It is just kleeman and renntech that are accepted by some dealers?
