I feel like you and I can be very good friends
I'm always watching for them and try to not be too crazy. 9500ix + Laser Interceptor and rulz
The only ticket I got was 2 weeks ago for an illegal U-turn on the highway. I didn't see the trooper He wanted to give me a ticket for illegal tint too lol

Have you ever been pulled after being lasered ?
Thanks in advance..

Are you leaving your front tires on Pirellis? Currently I have 7,000 miles on my stock conti tires. They seem to have a good bit of tread left, but I drive 95% highway.

I have the 9500ix, but got lasered last week ... where did you get the laser intercepter installed? I was looking at their website and install doesn't seem a DYI for me at least. How much did you pay for install?

I've been lasered 3 or 4 times. First time it happened, I got scared and didn't know what to do because I had no idea how the jammer sounds like when it goes off, I thought the engine was in fire (in my old C-Class) After few seconds, my 9500ix went off too and then I understood. I panicked and slowed down. I was supposed to turn off the jammer in that way the cop can read my reduced speed, which I didn't. It was very very very funny, the guy was next to his motorcycle and he was looking at his Lidar Gun like wtf is happening, and then I looked in my rear mirror and he was trying to get me from the back
The other times I was lasered, I just hit the brakes and kill the jammer like this they don't suspicious and pull me over. They will only be able to read your speed after you kill the LI. I was lucky the first time, don't do it, kill the jammer, or you might end up being pulled over answering to some embarrassing questions.
Oh and the cool thing is that if you live in a state like CA where it's illegal, and that you get caught. You can tell them it's a parking aid system since the LI says something like : Parking Aid System Disabled when you start the car
Put the sensors on your grill, they will never find out, they'll just assume that there is a bug with their gun.
Sorry for the grammar, hope this helps!

After reading good reviews on these tires I bought a set from Discount tire direct.
For Canadians they charge HST themselves and no brokerage fee on a border and free shipping.
I paid $1,314 for 2: 275/30ZR19XL and 2: 235/35ZR19XL

Thanks bro! Is it ok to only change the rears? And does the warrant cover normal wear and tear?

Stupid question (and maybe I have been doing gov work too long.. acronym hell).. but for some reason I always thought the PS2 and PSS (and yes.. even though both are 3 letter names, the gov would shorten PSS to PS2 or P2S if they had the oppertunity...) where the same damn tire.. anyone know the differences

So then they last as long as the Pzeros. My Pzeros, both rear sets lasted approx 5k only. What size are you running?
Does 275 on the rear rub with stock 18s, anyone?
Need some help on this guys, please check this.

I linked the warranty, read it, that is as much as I know.

Like I said earlier in the thread, I'm running 275/35/18 PSS on the stock 18's on stock suspension, no rubbing.
Yes it is ok to only change the rears. These cars are not AWD so not all 4 need to be replaced. I would not recommend replacing only a single rear tire if the other is less than 4/32's to avoid over working the rear diff (if you have an LSD).

How many miles will I get on my tires?
Many factors affect the life of your tires, such as tread compounds, construction features, driving style, road conditions, etc., which makes exact mileage impossible to predict. However, as part of The Michelin Promise Program, all MICHELIN passenger and light truck tires (replacement & original equipment) are covered by a limited warranty for tread wear. To view tread wear warranty details, click here. If you still have questions consult your local authorized Michelin retailer or contact Michelin Consumer Care at 1-866-866-6605.

Always read the fine print though:
installation and removal of the tires each winter to maintain coverage under the limited warranty for treadwear. Winter months is defined as the period beginning on or after September 1 of a given year, and ending no later than April 30 of the following year.
Mileage warranties apply to tires that come as original equipment on model year 2011 and later vehicles. Some vehicles come from the vehicle manufacturer with “split fitments”—
meaning different size tires on the front and rear axles. Because these tires cannot be rotated as recommended by Michelin, the mileage warranty on each rear tire will cover half the number of miles as the standard mileage warranty for that particular tire design.
ZP (Zero Pressure) tires have the same mileage warranty as the standard tire line they are part of, but not to exceed 30,000 miles. PAX
