Anyone else have a c63 that doesn't charge your iphone?
My IPod connection doesn't charge my iPhone, didn't really bother me before, but I bought that "AnyStream" so I can have bluetooth audio, and it's not working bc of my connector (guess it doesn't have the right amount of pins). BTW my car's an 09.

I think the charging feature was added for 2010, as my 2009 did not charge my iphone, but both my 2010 and 2011 do.

Just get the updated cable from Mercedes. Apple dropped support for 12V charging starting with the iPhone 3GS (I think), and the original cables that came with the COMAND units only support 12V. The new cables support 5V charging which works on all iDevices.
Here's an old thread with the CableJive workaround, as well as the part # for the Apple cable on the later COMAND units.

Scosche makes this adapter (forgot name but search scosche and iphone and it should come up) that I recently bought on eBay new for $14.99 shipped that will let it charge.

I actually started off with a Griffin Charge Adapter, which recodes the pins and drops 12V down to 5V on the new pins. Unfortunately, like the pioneer head units, the system is "smart" enough to detect that it can't charge the thing properly and stops sending 12V, thus, no charge. That's why I ordered this one, which bypasses the problem.
Of course the best solution is to get the updated cables from Mercedes. Much cleaner.
