Yesterday I got a call from Mercedes asking if I would be interested in joining an AMG focus group. Basically stating what we like and dislike about our cars.
Its about 2 hours long and at the end of the discussion they give you a $300 check for your time.
Any of you guys gotten a similar call from Mercedes?

I don't know... I rarely check my house calls. But I would say they know what they're doing if they want your advice. You definitely have your finger on the pulse.

Lol I know, my phone rang but I was too lazy to pick it up and next thing I hear on my answering machine is " Hello, were calling from Mercedes regarding your AMG blah....blah" So I called back and they told me what the deal was. Told them I would show up on the 21st of this month.
First thing I'm gonna tell them is to make the rear fenders wider on the C63, hopefully they take it into consideration.

Yea I did one for their new A or B suv hybrid things. Whatever it was it was ugly but I told them I liked it for some reason. Funny what money will make you do...

Went to this focus group last night at Universal City Walk.
Pretty much talked about AWD systems for 2 hours.

I guess AMG wants to get owner opinions whether or not they should have an AWD system in the AMG models.
I for one think an AMG will not be the same at all with an AWD system (Im sure most of you will agree), no fun at all. Told them it is a bad idea unless you live in snow covered terrain.

I know, they also have it in the ML63.
They are mainly speaking about the C and E AMG models.

I'd do it for free if it was nearby, just to see what questions they ask, who else shows up, etc.

hotels and food paid for and got to drive all their AMG's on the track
