I took the Basic course last Saturday! Fantastic day-- first class in every way! There were over fifty AMGs there for the class.

Excellent picture. Some good times to be had with that stable.
Have often wondered what becomes of MBUSA’s ‘never registered’ fleet. :nix:

Was also there with private lounge. It was amazing! There were around 80 AMG drivers with cars there. Did hot laps in new CLS63 and drove C63 coupes on autocross course. Great event!

Excellent picture. It captures the spirit of Laguna. The fog doesn't burn off until mid morning and the track is damp. You spend most of your morning trying to see the car in front of you and scaring the crap outta yourself in the corkscrew.

C63 Coupe Edition 1
I was there for a track day in my Z4 and we had a lunchtime shower, the corkscrew in the wet is a real test of testicular fortitude!

Good find. I do the pro class in November. Wondering if I can get my laps down below 1:50.
The cars 33 through 35 are the CLK63 BS. by November hope to have c63 bs.

Look forward to meeting you at Pro event in Nov. I doubt we will be use the CLKs as they use these for taxi rides mostly now as they have some serious hard miles on them now. Last year one of them blew its motor on the track so they have pulled what CLKs they have back into reserve role only. With respect to times it depends whether they will allow us to use full RPM range. At Pro event in Atlanta they had sessions where they limited RPM range with max been 5500. Guess their idea of keeping things safe. They won't have C63 Black for sure, but new Coupes will be there.
See you there,
Dave

I can not believe they will limit the RPMs. If they do, I will not be happy at all. The only thing I know is that the competition is 3 consistent laps around the track.
They will certainly have the SLS.
