if your asking how the transmission was? i thought it flowed right through the 7 gears. Not much difference from the outgoing model i didnt think, but maybe just a little quicker on shifting in manual.

Is there a long delay from when you click the button to when it actually shifts like on the outgoing c63?

Is there a "long" delay on the 2011 C63? Not at all. i havent driven the 2012 C63 yet however i think that what the OP is saying is that the 2012 switches gears more smoothly and as a result feels quicker in Manual Mode.

Not sure maybe my memory is fogging up but I remember when I test drove the 2011 c63, in M mode it has what felt like a .5 sec delay from when I click the button to when it actually shifts, not that it shifts slow from gear to gear, it does that really fast.

Anything W/4Wheels
MCT trans is 20% quicker then what we have in the 08-11 models.
MCT in M changes gears at 100 milliseconds.
the SLS DCT trans changes gears at 60 milliseconds

although my point of comparison is between a SL63 with MCT vs an 08~11 C63, the diff in time between flipping the paddle and having the tranny shift did not feel as dramatic as the difference in the "shift" itself, In the Speedshift I could "feel" the torque converter absorb part of the upshift, while the MCT of the SL felt more direct and thus "felt" to me like a faster and more efficient shift. IMHO significant enough to consider an upgrade

That is the time it takes for the gear to clutch out, switch gear, then clutch in if I am correct. My question is how long from when you pull the paddle do you actually feel the car shift. I know this is a different gearbox entirely but the DCT in BMW M and PDK in Porsche shift almost instantly after you pull the paddle. With the 2011 c63 of my friend's and 2011 c63 I drove at the stealership, it hesitated for what felt like 0.5 second hesitation... MCT is 100 milliseconds which is 0.1 second.
