I was in two mids about the two tone trim....but I'm happy I just went with the black.
As a matter of interest, does anyone know how much extra the two tone trim is?
Cheers, Pickles.

Two tone is NC. Red-black is very sporty especially with white colour. I also couldn't decide and went with black at the end.

C63 AMG Coupe, BMW E92 M3 manual
My red/black is due in a few days. I reckon the plain black looks great too, but there's an awful lot of black in there, especially if you go for carbon fiber trim as well ( I didn't ). The seats front and rear are a pretty funky shape and the two tone seems to bring that out nicely. I'll try to post some pics next week if anyone's interested. There doesn't seem to be a lot on the 'net with this combination, aside from the limited MB PR pics.

2012 C63
You may well be waiting a bit longer than 10days. I am not sure of the exact process but you may find that the people who do the "compliancing" of the car are shut over the New Years period. I had this issue with my old E46 M3 which was held up close to a couple of weeks due to the holiday closures. It was an excruciating wait!

It’s good to see some Aussies getting active on the Forum. You all must be loving your new cars.
I still remember the 5 month wait for mine to arrive and it was also an exciting part of the process.
Good luck and have fun.

interesting collection of cars there sj how do you find the HSV v the C63?
My order wont be in till next year, minister of war and finance direction...
Kind of sad that I've already put the list of options together though, even more depressing when the guys from the US talk about the $70k they spent on the car when ours is more than double that, stupid LCT....
Still next year can't come soon enough
My order wont be in till next year, minister of war and finance direction...

I hear what you’re saying about the price difference for the car compared to the USA and some parity wouldn’t hurt. Though to be fair to MB, the prices for all goods and services here is high and they will stay that way unless Australians stand as a whole to object to it.
It’s not possible to do a fair comparison between the AMG and the HSV, they come from very different price points and the budget for their R&D is reflected in the final products. The HSV lacks finesse, technology, is way too heavy, too slow to get mobile and screams cheapness in many areas. On the good side, the HSV is reasonably fast for a 4 door, is cheaply and easily modded if that’s your thing (then they go like a scalded cat), they handle and brake as well as a stock C63 and come with a manual transmission. I’d take the AMG over it any day but would never knock a HSV (other than the ugly body kits). I’ve owned many and will continue to own them, they make a great daily for the family with more interior space than the C63 plus plenty of safety built in and at half the price.

Ours is on the Toledo which berths in melbourne 22/12.....I expect it to be around mid January before we get our hands on it.
Just a further question....Is the "standard" "trim" on the Aussie C63.."Black Ash"?
Cheers, Pickles.

Standard Nappa Leather Upholstery - single tone - based on black leather 221. NC option is two tone also based on black leather 221.
221 I believe is referred to as black leather, not sure about the black ash.

"Black Ash" is the colour of the "wood grain" trim on the edges of the dash & in the doors.....I was just wondering if that is in fact the "default" colour in the Aussie C63, as there are several colours available.
