C63TT in the near future?
I am considering ordering a 2012 C63 and adding a Weistec on it but may just wait if a C63 TT will be available for 2013.
If a new 63TT is capable of 650rwhp with a tune then it would probally still be cheaper than a 63NA + Weistec and about equal in power?

So the earliest we would see a TT C63 would be model year 2016, which translates to fall 2015. That is, if Mercedes decides to use the 5.5TT in the car.
The new c class will probably be a 2014 or 2015 model year car.
they should put the new 4.6 tt in it (the c63) with a good calibration that engine should be good for 550 hp with lots of torque and not be too heavy. similar to the bmw 4.4 tt in the m5
The thing is that that engine the 4,6 tt is probably a lot more costly to manufacture that the 6.2 na even if it's not an amg engine.
So a C63TT will be a Black Series version...
The article is dated December 2010 and is completely wrong. The Black Series coupe has already been announced and delivery starts soon - it is a 6.3 NA motor. Not sure what the article proves, except that Edmunds does not have any "sources" at M-B.
IMO, there is no way MB/AMG will produce NA engines for the next generation of AMG cars. The world is pushing for up to a 30% change in carbon emissions by 2025. Although that number will not be met, the trend to produce more fuel efficient engines is fast underway and NA engines that are rated at 13/19 mpg will not cut it; not when you have the new TT AMG and BMW engines making more power with an increase in MPG.

The 6.2 NA will be the last of a generation, never to be seen again. The TT motors might be faster but they just don't compare on many levels e.g. sound, throttle response etc.
My 63BS will be a keeper...
The sound of the M156 with the C63's exhaust is epic as well.
Of course, turbo cars sound awesome in their own right. The GTR for instance offers a great sense of occasion when you're listening to it whoosh and growl.
It seems like the M157 sounds really nice too.
I would bet that the next C63, even if it is F/I (which I think it will be) will sound the meanest out of all the 63-series cars.
If you can get get a C63 BS, I would for sure.
Am not willing to go into more detail at this time.
That being said, you guys have made me second guess myself and am confirming this with the source as I type....
