Damn good numbers!! Are the 2012s rated to have more power than the 08-11 sedans?? I thought I saw dyno's by other members around 380whp stock., same dyno.

actually, its thanks to mb under-rating the power output for marketing purposes. its actually runnning around 510-520 horse power at the crank. the engine is almost identical to the black series engine. the black series engine has some other options on it like a crank case pressure decreaser (cant remember what the technical term is for it) but point being, mb wants to keep keep a class seperation between the c-class and its e-class.
there are many threads about this but basically the p31 package is equivalent to a tuned c63 or an e63 amg.

The accepted drivetrain loss for our automatic-equipped cars, measured at the wheels is 18%. Manual transmissions don't even allow for a 10% loss.

The MCT transmission is the same automatic transmission as the 722.9 in the MY08'-11'. The only difference is the use of the wet start-up clutch in place of the torque converter. That change doesn't account for any difference in drivetrain loss, at least not one that we could measure.

C63 Coupe Edition 1
I was thinking 15% loss but either way MB under states the numbers for the official values. The dyno at Thunder Hill racetrack measures the drivetrain loss so when I get the car up there I'll see what numbers it produces.
