actually once you gut the air box you pretty much have a row, I left the velocity stack alone. It is different, a bit bigger with a better design but there would not be a noticeable difference. for those that think the sound is different, you played yourself.

Look, if you don't want to pony up $350 just leave them until someone here sells them. I looked for a few months and a set came up for sale for 230 shipped. Just do it the right way and *******ize your boxes.

Potentially stupid question, but the row air boxes would still just use the filter found at the dealerships in the US and Canada, right? I just replaced mine and I'm doing a little reading on here to see if it's worth adding the row airboxes to my headers/tune I ordered. At around 420 USD I'd probably order them but almost 600USD for them with afe filters when I just replaced my factory filters seems a bit silly.

I don't think I'm going to order the ROW air boxes now, I've ordered a lot of stuff lately for the car and don't really need to waste more money, especially after shelling out what weistec wanted for their catch can. I'm curious on your guys' opinion on the following though, I'm going to be running v7 tune with ARH LT's and catless mid/x pipe - would you guys order the AFE pro dry filters themselves? I feel like if I'm not going to get the airboxes I would still benefit from the AFE filters with my mods versus just staying on stock filters. I'd gather the AFE filters are the majority of the performance gains when people order the ROW airboses + AFE anyways.

If you look carefully you can get them at a good price. I'm pretty good at finding deals. ECS tuning was offering them cheap at the time. Shop around and look for coupons.

I'll have my lightly used ROW's and AFE's avail later this month - asking $ 250 for them, about 5k on the filters. I'm finally installing the renntech airboxes
