How much did you pay for your 2012 C63 AMG?
Hi all
Just figured I would start a thread like this to find out how much everyone paid for their 2012 C63 AMGs. So if you dont mind maybe post some info like:
- Your options/MRSP
- Actual price you paid or your lease amount
- any other useful information like the discounts you got, if you got it off the lot or ordered it, or if you had to go to a couple of dealers etc.
I am looking to pick up a 2012 C63 sedan in January and will definitely find this info very useful! Hopefully it will help out some other people who will be making the purchase soon too
Thanks!

we recently got a GLK350 sticker for 44k, at 39k. exactly where true car says is a really good deal. and that is without going through truecar until after we did it.

It also depends, I believe, on where you live. Some markets can get discounts easier (maybe greater competition) than others. In smaller markets where there isn't a lot of competition, getting anything off list is tough. Also, you need to factor in things like what you were given for a trade in, as an example. If you were trading a car and getting a very favourable trade value, that is relevant too.

My 2012 was delivered last night, first drive coming up shortly
I paid $5k off MSRP
I hate the chrome door handle inserts (they were on the car) and plan to paint them iridium silver...anyone know if they pop off easy?

I was about 4k under MSRP. I am also a USAA member, so I didn't even have to haggle a price as the discount is guaranteed. I would have been happy with a 1-2k discount to be honest. If I wasn't a loyal customer already, even MSRP would have worked.

so say on truecar.com I put in a sedan with saphire grey, lsd, red/black seats/ and lighting package. the MRSP for that build is 69k and true car says a good price in my area would be 64k. Would that even be a realistic price to walk in and ask a dealer for? 5k off mrsp.
and I dont know if they are still doing conquest in January but if they do I have an Acura Integra so I guess I can get 2k off right away.

I heard conquest may be going away in 2012 but you can use the loyalty credit (same $2k) if you currently own a benz, that is a standard incentive as I was told. Dont think you can combine.
On that note - does anyone know if you can combine conquest or loyalty with your company discount (ie MB has deals with tons of companies for a $1k-$3k incentive when you show proof of employment) or is it only one incentive allowed?

Anyone that buys a new car from dealer paid too much. It's the eleventh commandment. I don't car what car, when you bought it, or how much a discount you got. It just too much. It shows up in the resale value so you really didn't save anything.

Pay a little more for an unpopped cherry or pay less for someone's sloppy seconds and maybe catch something nasty in the process . For me, it's worth the premium.

True but for me I would rather pay too much so I can ensure the only dirty *** to sit in the driver's seat is my own... who knows what a previous owner might have done to my girl

Id much rather have a new car all day long than a used one. With that being said its great for some that our beloved AMG's depreciate so they can buy a good conditioned car for less. Its just not for me- I have had 5 AMG's all new and Im sure I spent more (duh) but I have zero regrets.

i don't see a point in the new v old argument.
do you guys buy your houses new too?... since you want to make sure all the f'ing that's been going on is your own.
but just be warned, most of the new homes i've been to under construction have all their toilets used first by the workers....
btw, the air you breath, it's probably been in someone else's mouth before or worse, it came out of an ***. unless you suck oxygen from a can.
