New headers - Gintani or Cargraphics?

Hi
I want to buy some new headers for my C63. Now I have to make the decision if I buy the cheaper Cargraphics or, the in my opinion, better Gintani headers. I just read throw the sticky threat for the different headers and types. What's your opinion? Rest of the exhaust system should stay stock.

Would also be nice if someone knows where to get the systems for the best price.

Neither. Go with MHP or MBH...both stellar performers for very reasonable prices.

MHP some of the nicest quality and performing headers I've seen.

Install is straight forward. But beware they are LOUD!

My vote goes for Gintani.
Seen the the headers in person and the quality is second to none.

Check out the vid.

I didn't know that you have to remove the heatshields by the MHPs. On their homepage they claim that the System fits without any modifications.

Its two small heat shields the size of your hand, 1 bolt on each I believe. Nothing major.

there are no modifications to install.....mthis just has an issue with MHP and is trying to steer you away from them . that's the reason his sig shows he has headers but doesn't put that they are MHP headers . if he did major mods to install his , then he did it wrong

Whattttt

What u saying that you don't remove the Heatshields when installing MHP header?
Trust me I know I installed them and before I installed them I had a shop try to install them and they couldn't bc they didn't want to remove the shield later to find out Andy told me that the instruction "should have been in the box but Weren't" so I payed for reinstalling my stock headers and then I did the install my self.

I honestly don't recall having to do any mods to get the headers to fit. I definitely didn't remove the heatshields. My guy, a former AMG tech, put the car on a lift and had them swapped out in less than five hours. I'm sure he would have told me if he had to do mods to make it work as we've been racing together since.

You sure bc from what I know and I'm 100% bc I spent HR's under the car trying to fit them without removing the shields and the drivers side was impossible to instal without removing the shield.

Hagi, I consider you a friend but I want to ask you a question, not to long ago you would state on this forum, buy mhp they are the best... Now you removed them from your Sig which i understand you've stated you don't want to advertise for Andy because of a issue with the Ecu tune and the fact that at the time the company that was doing the tuning used epoxy to protect there ip. So be it

I have one question why with all the bad taste in your mouth and down talk of the product of late why wouldn't you remove the headers and sell them and use a different companies all together preferably the cheapest ones cause they are all the same? I'd be more then happy to help you remove and reinstall a new set

Ya me too, did the install with my pops and a AMG tech. We had to remove the motor mount heat shields to get the headers on.. No big dealllll.

LOL, he must be bitter. MHP had some questionable **** going on with the ECU's, I'd give them a try now... But their headers are the best IMO, along with their customer service. I've dealt with a lot of after market companies and few have come close to Andy's level of communication.
