I'm debating between sedan and Coupay' Post your pix or videos
Here is one video that is helping me make my decision.
Check out the vid ----> Space saver tires...lol Coupe
Coupe or Sedan?
Will I ever re-coupe, (no pun intended) my money with a coupe?
Or get the sedan that I see most everyone has.

I vote sedan. I think the C coupe looks good from some angles and bad from others. the line doesnt flow imo. Personally I like the sedans lines more (I guess it seems more original since we saw the sedan c class first) and also the sedans seats.
However coupes are more unique (less so for 2012 though) and have a panoramic sunroof which is nice. test both and see what you like more!

I was told that If you get the C63 sedan with perfromancce pack you get the Alcantara steering wheel that is normally in the coupe.
Has anyone tried that steering wheel? I love alcantara.
i also went on the the BYOM Site and when " ADD" the performance pack it does not say anything about steering wheel?

Surely it is about which you like the best for the task you have. I bought the sedan because I liked the way it looked, simply a personal subjective decision we all make. If you need to carry other adults often then the decision is even easier. Whatever you buy you will love it.

There are more sedans around because the coupe just came out. I personlly find that the sedan looks less sporty/aggressive in person compared to the coupe. Pictures don't really portray the coupe correctly. There is a black coupe and a black sedan at the dealership right now and, although they are both really beautiful, my preference is the coupe looks wise. But, as we all know, opinions will vary so it doesn't matter what I like but what you like. Also, I find that a sedan, IMO only, takes away from the sporty nature of the car... makes it too family/practical. I like a coupe because it is "sportier" IMO. I felt the same way about the M3 coupe/sedan.

I'd be more interested in finding out if the coupe has any performance/handling benefits over the sedan? Does it feel lighter and more nimble? I never drove one yet.
I guess the looks are always going to be subjective but if the sedan can do performance/handling wise exactly the same as the more sporty looking coupe, then surely that just makes the sedan even more impressive?
Maybe that's just me though, I don't need four doors let alone four seats but have for many years been an avid admirer of fast sedans.

Anyway, IMHO, I reckon it's simply your choice, both brilliant, similar cars...you just have to choose which one suits you.
Cheers, Pickles.

Coupe! That 2" drop on the roofline makes a huge difference for the aggressive stance.
Hopefully you can see two side by side at the dealer like I did.
Of course, if you need the extra doors for your infant car-seat, I feel bad for you.

I think the coupe actually is lighter.
My preference is the sedan. Coupe looks just like all the other models out there. Also I like the utility of having four doors. If I wanted to spend 80k on a performance coupe I'd just get a GTR. Again, my 2 cents.

sedan if .... more than two people are constantly riding in the vehicle, the traditional C63.
coupe if .... you like to be more sporty, but at the same time you're the only person driving it + 1 passenger. 4 people is fine on short trips, but long trips do suck especially if you're sitting in the back seats.
I have the coupe, it's just gorgeous compared to the sedan. IMO of course.

One thing I did not like was the absence of electric windows in the rear of the coupe and no seatbelt arm as in the CLK. I know the arm is not there because it has a pillar to mount the seatbelt on.
Both fabulous and you can not go wrong with either.

I had the option of buying either but I went with the sedan for more analytical reasons. First off 4 doors. If you are ever driving more than 2 people more than a couple times a month the coupe is very annoying. I can fit three more people comfortably in my car and still have the opportunity to drive the Sh*t out of it. 4 doors also gives you more room for transporting things. Its the world of difference in terms of practicality. I think the performance differences are negligible in terms of the two as well. The coupe looks good, just not as refined as the sedan IMO. The sedan version gives you that split personality and is probably the reason most chose to go for it. You're getting more car for your money.. literally. You can go wrong with either though. Driving this car is intoxicating.
ps. Heres my 2012 sedan. I love the lines!!

I love sport sedans. My first vehicle was a coupe. Never bought one ever again lol. Have to lean or exit the vehicle for people to enter. My matrix fit 7 people. Bad idea lol.
