Finally in the HRE family :)
Hi everyone,
As u must all know, i was in the market for some OEM 19's.. So I was going to purchase it from the dealership but changed my mind at the last minute cuz a friend of mine (thank you so much jakio) helped me find a deal on a set of HRE.
I placed my custom order, so I'd like some feedbacks from the wheel experts here on this forum if I got it right.
- HRE P40 in brushed with tinted clear
- 19x9 f +45mm
- 19x10 r +55mm
- Hankook Ventus
- 245/35/19f
- 275/30/19r
Keep in mind I'm dropped on H&R spring & don't want rubbing. I'm trying to be flushed though. I went high offset cuz I want to go wide wheels. Am I doing it wrong? Let me know as I have until tomorrow to change the sizing.
One last question, I was told HRE in 19inch uses ball seated lugs (our OEM lugs). Is it true?

I got the P40.. I just ordered them, but I will sure post pics of the wheels when I get them next month. I hope the brushed tinted clear will look good on my car. My SV1 is already brushed, so I wanted something a lil darker.

^^ Interesting, what brand of tires are you using? I'm surprised you are rubbing on a 19x9.5 +50mm.. I have 19x10 +53mm on my SV1 & i'm not rubbing.. so I'm hoping my HRE will be fine at 19x10 +55mm.

Great choice! My HRE takes conical lug bolts, most aftermarket wheels are not ball seat. It might be something you can discuss with them if you want to re-use your OEM ones.

Thanks for the infos.. are your wheels 19's or 20's? I was told 20's needs cone seated lug & 19's ball seated.
Well, I have both conical & ball seated lugs (OEM) at home, but I was told to use the OEM... so I just wanted to confirm so I can use the right lugs. Thx again Thrilla.

We will make the wheels to ball or conical, all depends on you. Please make sure you tell your dealer which one you want.

Karl, thx for the assurance on the fitment. I would hate if the tires rub once installed. Since the time I saw ur car on HRE, I knew I wanted to join ur family. Lol

I also wants to use my oem lugs as i trust the oem ones more than some china made lugs. Did you have to buy an extended socket or the holes in the HRE are large enough to install the lugs with ease?
