My guess.. it is either a dealer playing as a private seller (I am sure that violates some autotrader rules), or a person smart (assholish?) enough to understand the limited run, with the funds and good timing to purchase it knowing he/she was going to resell it immediately with a decent markup..

Not sure how the owner came up with the $122,575 price tag but that specific BS doesn't even look like it came with the CF aero package or maybe even a track pack in it? MSRP on the one i looked at was $108k.

I can get one (not sure if it's still available though) for $108k straight up with no markup on it. So the owner is definitely trying to make some serious cheese on that sale. If he can get away with it then for him.

The seller is most likely an opportunist. He bought it for the sole purpose of reselling for a profit. The sad thing is, someone will buy it from him at his asking price.

Wow, $122K. Still, that's a bargain compared to across the pond in tea & crumpet land. You'd be looking at at least $160K (£100,000).

I was thinking the same thing.
I did not see it in any order guide nor did my dealer have it on their order form.
And looking at whatever that doc is there is no charge for the designo paint, and it's missing factory code 069 which is on my order

Too late fellas, I just bought it from him--it's going on the trailer tomorrow.
Just kidding I did think about it for a minute though.
After seeing more real world pics, I'm really feeling the BS.
Hoping they'll have one at the NY Auto Show Preview tomorrow night.
It's not a bad price, considering the exclusivity and performance.
I just wish it had a bit more power and CF brakes, still a great car.
I wish AMG would make a E63 BS coupe, that would be awesome!!!
