VELOS Designwerks Tuned C63 Coupe *Pics & Vids*
Hey everyone, just wanted to share my recent tuning experience/results. After doing some research on the forum regarding various tuners I came across a local tuner, VELOS Designwerks in Miami, FL. I quickly PM'ed them to get some more information on their tune. Within a few minutes I had a reply from Omar of VELOS explaining what they offered, pricing, and results/dyno graphs. I also contacted fellow member Jboogie, who had already taken his C63 Coupe to them, for his review of the tune *Click Here*. Shortly after seeing the results and hearing positive reviews I felt comfortable going with VELOS. I eventually called up Omar to schedule an appointment but I had been extremely busy with work so I let him know that I was a bit unsure as to when I would be free to take my car to their facility. Since my time was limited Omar offered to send someone to my office to remove my ECU, so I quickly accepted. This is when I met Jean from VELOS. About 45 minutes after hanging up with Omar, Jean arrived at my office ready to remove my ECU. After a quick friendly conversation Jean removed my ECU and was on his way. Within 3 hours Jean was back from tuning my ECU at their facility and began re-installing. Once the install was complete Jean handed me my keys and confidently said "Take it for a spin!". The minute I pulled out of my parking spot I knew the car was a different beast. It is simply incredible how much more power the car is making. It's obvious to me now why Mercedes de-tunes the C63's from factory (even w/ p31 development package), the car is just ridiculously fast now. The car pulls harder and smoother throughout the gears and torque has significantly been improved. Highway pulls are also night and day. With traction control completely disabled the stock tires (Continentals) will break loose/spin till 3rd gear. This tune has by far been the best money I've spent on my car. To sum it up I am extremely happy with the tune and for anyone considering and/or in the market for a tune I highly recommend contacting VELOS Designwerks in Miami. Customer service is top notch and they also have a really nice waiting room too for those who rather wait for their vehicle, thumbs up to that
.

lol Thanks! ![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Im amazed by these numbers as well!![EEK!](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/eek.gif)
Hopefully I will have time soon. I would like to get a hold of some drag radials before heading out to the track.
jboogie (also tuned by VELOS) put down 443 hp. They told me the day of his run it was about 10 degrees hotter and a lot more humid than my dyno day yesterday. You can check out his dyno in his review I added into my original post.

Good baseline for the tune. Now get it to the track and lets see some track times.

Yeah, no chance 460 whp with just a tune. STD correction is the factor here. At SAE you can take about 5% off that value. 437 WHP is still very nice for a tune. I think with OE my best with ice cooling the intake before the run was 447 SAE and smoothing 5.

Noted... Still wasnt SAE. Thanks for updating the chart. Still some serious power with your mods. That tune must be VERY aggressive. Congrats. Hopefully we can see some track time for the tune soon.

Those are some very quick times in your sig. Have you ever done 0-100 runs? Would like to see that time if you have it.
What tune are you running?
