Right side eyebrow and taillight flashing
2009 c63 26k miles
I have taken my car in to the dealer now 3 times and they still have not fixed an issue I continue to have.
With the car in the off position headlight position off. The right side eyebrow and taillight flash on and off.
Generally when I switch the position to auto then back off it stops the flashing.
I have searched for this but have not found a solution.
I also have had a starting problem occasionally - turn the key and nothing happens, turn it off and then turn it back on and it will start. I found this awhile ago but can't seem to find a thread on this again.
Thanks for any help.

yes,. you have a faulty Light module, the switch you use to turn on the lights is bad. I have seen and fixed this problem many times!!
Edit--not related to your starting issue, only the lights flickering.

I had my light switch replaced for the same reason.. Possibly also an issue with you, check the connectors to the rear tail lights.. mine melted on the passenger side... Known issue, all done under warranty work.

For the starting issue, have you had a shop look at that yet? It sounds like it might be something to do with how the key and ignition communicate. Like it is taking extra time or turns for the ignition to recognize your key. Have you tried another key to see if this is the car or the fob?
Just speculating here.

Anybody have an idea on what the switch part number is for our cars? I've seen 2 part numbers so far for the light switch for W204...
204 905 34 04
and
204 905 33 04
Both are light switches according to this site: http://www.mercedespartscenter.com/ but cannot confirm if it works for a 2009 W204 C63.
Any leads would be appreciated.

C320 CDI
It was the switch
My 2008 320cdi right front eyebrow light was also flickering with the switch in the off position, not "A".
On the last warranty service the dealer replaced the light switch as they had seen it previously, although it was not a common problem. I have not had the opportunity to test it in the dark, but I trust it has been solved.
Some threads suspect it could be linked to the bad connector earth wiring in the rear lights, but on my car it was good.
