2012 C63 AMG coupe, 2010 Infiniti G37x
Put my car on the dyno today. Made 413hp/380tq. It was a dyno dynamics so I think it's a little overrated numbers but obviously pretty good. I didn't have time to reflash to stock and re-run it, so I don't have a baseline.
However, for reference a bone stock 2012 Mustang GT500 (rated 550hp) ran 463hp/(and i think about 400tq), so the v3 numbers seem pretty good.

By the way, the dyno guy is a well respected tuner and said with a custom tune he should be able to get another 20whp/25wtq b/c the car is running pretty rich over 4k rpms (low 11s). Sounds pretty reasonable but I wanted to see if anyone else has gotten a custom tune overtop a v3 and made that kind of numbers?

Might be worth mentioning that it looks like I gained almost 1mpg over my regular work commute since going from v1 to v3 and that's even with the AC on more than usual. Every bit helps! haha

Was your car completely stock and non-P31?

Correct. All stock, non P-31. It's a lease so im not going crazy with mods, I don't even think I would do charcoal delete, we'll see.
That's why I'm trying to get the most out of a tune-only and since it is running pretty rich I think that there are some more gains to be made.
By the way, the tuner said that when you flash it back to stock with the dimsport, it is indeed undetectable at dealer. So even if you have a problem with engine, in which case the district rep will probably come and do a full inspection and ECU read, you will pass.

Guys, just received the files ( i requested V3 pump gas catless and V3 Race Gas) from Jerry and uploaded them to MyGenius. However when i tried to upload to the ECU, I couldn't scroll through the files in the handheld so my only option is V3 Pump Catless. At the end it says error code (0x4102) File not enabled to writing

Anybody can chime in on what's going on?

Not sure all these issues are Jerry's fault. Remember the device and software were produced in Italy, not exactly the silicon valley.

Anybody have issues with their tune?

I get a really bad lag in 3rd gear only when the rpm hits around 3500-4000. The tq dips and then after 4000 it continues to pull hard.

1st, 2nd gear are fine. When I go into 3rd gear is when i see the issue.

maybe this is an adaptation issue? you can try unplugging the battery to see if it'll reset..

Now that you mention it.. 3rd gear does not feel as ferocious in that spot as the other gears. Maybe it is in my head since I didn't notice it until your post? lol

I've emailed 3 different people from EuroCharged and PM one with no response.

Can SOMEONE tell me if you can cause the 63 to give more crackle and pop from the exhaust on decel? I'm told this is done through the tune (little bit of fuel and retarded timing) with a straight through exhaust.

You can do that on any car. But why would you want to do that? I am pretty sure you would loose power.

I think everyone at EC is busy looking for my car's file to tune.

You only do that on decel, not under load, so it wouldn't affect power at all. Ordinarily, the fuel is turned off completely on decel and timing is advance to burn off any unburnt fuel that may be lingering in the exhaust. The crackling and popping sound is fuel burning in the exhaust system, hence why it's some time accompanied by yellow/red flame.

Most of these tuning systems don't allow you to turn off fuels cut and such, but this setup maybe more advanced.

Wouldn't that burn the catalytic converters?

On My Audi TTS, a drop of gas is inyected between gear changes and the sound is AMAZING!! .... I remember Geremy Clarckson mentioned about the sound in a program.

I uploaded V3 last week and noticed a bit more crackle and pop on decel coming to a full stop. I also gain 1.5 MPG
