I honestly have no idea on how much hp you can gain on a p31 with EC tune. All i can tell you is that i have gone back and forth between stock and EC tune and i can for sure tell a difference in lower gears. The car pulls harder around 2 - 4k rpm to the point where i am getting a little wheel spin even with tc on. Not really see much difference in hight RPM though. If you already have an Xpipe , i would get a tune. Either tune should be fine.
Newbie here with a 2012 C63AMG Sedan...LOVE the car! I am going to buy the EC handheld programmer and the EC V4 tune...Also found out from Jerry that the V4 tune is stable and will be publicly available this Monday!

help. i just got mine today and its not workin for me. ive done everything. update ver. an protocal an still nothin keeps giving me error code 0x3101. anyone have any ideals it would be apprciated. i just gave up an put it back in the box

I got my tune today. Load it up pretty easily and drove home...... First impression is great!
Throttle feels precise, shifting faster and accordingly to the gas you demand. Before the tune, I had to let go completely on the gas in order to up shift, when demonic powers where no longer required. Now it's more gradual and controllable with the pedal travel. ..... Bassically before was more on/off now I can use my throttle quirurgically.

Does this software allow for end users to adjust or is it strickly the tuners ability??
Reason i ask...I run EFI Live and have a decent frasp on the tuning part...does your software you sell allow folks like myself to adjust further or it is fixed tuning from you guys?

Dont mean to thread jack or promote someone else name in this thread but for the people that dont think this is worth it take a look at how easy it is to use and how u can swap tunes.
for me this device is worth more then the tune.
if anyone from EC gets offended bc the OE tuning on the device mods feel free to delete my post or anyone from EC can ask me to i will.
