H&R springs on P30 car????

Anyone running H&R 0.75inch lowering spring on a P30 car... I know the suspension is harder, but is it lowered from the factory too??

I am trying to figure out if I should lower or not..

Also, how does lowering effect handling for track days? Will i regret doing this?? Do I need an alignment after?

Lastly, what is the install time? Do I need a spring compressor?

I have one if you're interested. It's still in the box. I decided to go with coilovers instead.

Handling is improved and should amplify the stickiness of whatever tires you're running. If you live in an area with crap roads, you might regret it, but otherwise, it's bearable most days. You will require an alignment. Not sure about the install time, but you still need a spring compressor.

I'd PM Rob @ Vivid to see what they did for my car. It's a P30.

Go for the springs. You will notice a big difference. You will have an overall drop, a slight rake, and a lot more responsive handling. There is no need to worry. It will not affect the car, no rubbing, etc..

I went with H&R Sport(the blue ones-forgot part number). Got a little over 1" in the front and an inch in the rear of a drop. I love it.

I have a p30 also , but I'm wondering if the shocks are all the same p30 or not , and who are they made from bilstein? Ect ????
Also looking for input from p30 owners who put springs in , some say it actually rides a little smoother

Ok and are my tires going to rub?

I am running the OEM 18s multispoke and at the track I run TSW 19s Interlagos...

The Interlagos are

Front: 19x8 45 offset
Rear: 19 x 9.5 53mm offset

So will those rub with a 245/35/19 front and 275/30/19 rear??

Sorry, I have coilovers so all of the comments above might be moot. Misread the original post. I think you might be okay with 275s. I am getting a little rubbing with 285s but only when I have people in the car. Solo, I don't have nearly as much. But the highways here are crap.

you should be fine in terms of rubbing. The H&R springs don't lower that much in the rear if you have the P30, especially if you use the 17mm spring pads instead of the stock 14mm spring pads for the rear.

Not necessary. They are oem parts. It just makes the wheel gap look more even between the front and the rear
