Pickles, u had first dibs but I believe Jordan didn't want to send the small box to Australia for cost reason.

Pickles that is diassapointing. I could have got you a free one as one of my friends who receive his 2012 C63 peel the logo off. I could have swapped my old blank ones with him.

Yes, it IS disappointing.
I didn't even receive an acknowledgement even though I was first in.
In my post, which is there for all to see, I said.."What do I do etc", but not even the courtesy of a reply.
If the guy had contacted me & said he didn't really want to send it to Oz, I'd have copped it, but to give it to someone else without any contact with me, when I was Ist in line, is not the way I do things.

Buddy, you gotta chill out a bit. It's already been given to someone else. It's just a battery cover... Whining about the situation isn't going to change anything. The reality is, you're just a random person on an online forum, so unfortunately he didn't really have any actual obligation to you. Sorry things didn't work out in your favor.

I'm quite aware of what it is....it's no big deal....Of course I know that it's not my property, etc etc etc.....It's the principle of what he's done that has annoyed me.
Of course he has no "actual" obligation.....however, I thought he may have had a "MORAL" one, to at least let me know what he was doing......that is what I would have done, had the situation been reversed. We call it "manners" in Oz.

LOL @ otakki, it's pretty amazing what the covers are going for knowing they are only plastic with an "aluminum" sticker. 
Pickles, I'm sorry & feel ur disappointment.. And the "not shipping to Australia" was only my assumption, not Jordan real reason. He also mentioned that I helped him a lot in the past that's why he wants to give it to me. Nonetheless, I would personally have contacted the persons interested. Once again, sorry if I caused any problems.

Pickles, I am sorry that I did not respond to your "request" for the fob. I did not feel that it was warranted. There were several others members that asked for it as well, some even offering "payment" or a "perk". I just wanted to share, I did NOT contact every member that put up an offer. I just continued to POST what was happening. I feel you are being way too hard on me and the process by which I decided to share.

went into the parts department 2da and they said there are none in the us and they have 2 be ordered like a key (u must have a trp form and amg that came with them)
