G'Day, We were down your way the other day...went down to Portland to suss out Macs Hotel....found a magnificent Balcony room on the 2nd floor, so we'll definitely be staying there at some time....parking seems OK for the C63 too.
Nice plates on your car...how many Ks have you done?....we're a bit over 15Ks.

Portland is a nice little costal town and I was there last week. I have done about 10,000km. I love my plates, I ordered them 6 months before the C63 was released and before I even ordered the car . You should have stop by and I would have taken you out for lunch

I picked up my key cover today for $25. I thought it was for a set, but when we opened the tin box, it only had one cover in it.

And some dealerships have these to retrofit to new AMGs already on the lots. Definitely ask about them if you're buying now / in the future.

Yes just the parts department. It took a while since I ordered them at the end of November.

interesting, thanks for the info. the parts guy at my dealership didn't know anything about ordering these when i asked him back in nov/dec. but then again, he also didn't believe me when i said that my P30 rotors were 2-piece and that the hat could be separated from the disc ...

I just picked up my 2013 yesterday and I did not get a set!! I told my guy and he said that they only give it for the SL. I told him to check again, but I doubt I'll hear back from him anytime soon... Either way I was too excited about finally getting my car to care too much.

Does anyone have the part number for the actual Fob Battery Cover? I'm trying to get one through the parts department but the number on the tin comes up as a casket and it has a "theft" warning placed on it. Anyone know what to do to get around this??

I just want the gosh damn logo on the back on my key!

I wonder if any of the site sponsors can get a factory in China to crank out a large number of those in high quality tin. Then all I need to do is peel off the backings and slap them on and, viola!

Update, I was able to get the AMG key fob when I went to the dealership, just have to prove you own an AMG series car. The guy who answered the phone thought that I "sounded too young" to own an AMG and was assuming that I was just trying to get the casing to look cool....

I had an opportunity several months ago to warranty out my keys for the newer style and I didn't because I liked the older style better. But this was before I knew these covers existed...oh well.

Yeah, I remember him posting that too...I'm sort of regretting not getting my keys replaced with the new versions, but I felt like the older keys were sleeker.
