Usually ESP off depending on traffic.

If traffic is heavy I don't like taking chances of losing any type of control with other drivers around.

If traffic is light I like to drift on turns and hear a little wheel spin every now and then. It keeps the blood flowing.

ESP Off while city driving, like you Hoozy I love drifting at every turn lol. I put back ESP ON when it's raining and on highways though (I don't trust the CL at high speeds)

ESP on most of my time.

ESP-Sport when I see some sports car behind and getting ready to race.

ESP-Off for a serious race

You get your full torque only at ESP-OFF

be careful when on ESP-off.

I only use at far from public roads and only set up street race where there are zero cars on the road

I prefer starting from 100 km/hr when racing with ESP-off
sometimes i will accept at 80km/hr but never lower

The key is to know how to handle the car and know how she'd react. I'm always with ESP-OFF in city driving with cars around, but when I go on the highway I disable it because it makes me nervous...

You should keep your ESP-On for safety. Use ESP-off only when you need it

Pretty much the same. Also ESP Sport in a race for lower speeds so you wont get a slip which makes you behind

ESP-On - When it's wet
ESP-Sport - Always
ESP-Off - NEVER/Serious Race in right conditions.

P.S. For those who drive 6.2L engines with ESP-Off all the time, sorry but you will crash eventually.

For you I would suggest to play with this button more than just leave it off every time you are not on highway. I think what you getting used to is a dangerous habit and once you get overconfident it will bite you. God forbid!

I will never be over confident. I don't trust the CL AT ALL. Specially the braking sucks.

Lol ESP off is dangerous be careful guys!

Ok back to reality, I've been driving with ESP off since I bought the car. I don't think I have ever used it or C mode once. If you need ESP to save you from sideswipping a poll, you really need to re-evaluate your driving skill.

So everyone that's has a viper is going to crash?? Cause they have an 8.3l and no cheater electronics to help?

If u can't handle a 4000lbs car with 500hp maybe u should have got something less ?

WTF?

I've owned a CLK BS, C63, and C63 BS and I drove all 3 with ESP off all the time, even in the snow with the C63. When will my eventual crash come?

I still can't believe some drive the c63 in the snow. I did for about 3 or 4 storms, it was no fun at all, and never again...and I had winter tires.

ESP sport most of the time but ESP on whenever there is so much as a drizzle. I've been saved by ESP at least 2 times to know better.

I've been on a number of advanced driving courses so I like to think it isn't that I don't have any skills but when overtaking on a slippery road (thanks to a light drizzle and some soil) it takes only a split second and you are gone.

I actually only switch ESP to off when I want to do a burn out at low speeds. At high speeds: ESP sport, at very high speeds: ESP on as the slightest mistake can turn into a big one.

Hopefully never! IMO it is almost always some other jackhole that will mess your ride up for you!
