Rear tire replacement question
My rear tires are about done and was wondering what I should replace them with? I have the 19" AMG V-Spoke rims...what's the widest I can run? Any recommendations would be much appreciated!

I run 265 PSS on the rear and am very happy with the look and performance. Any wider would look too bulgy IMO and the sidewall would roll under load and make the car feel less responsive. IMO, if you run 275 or larger then you should have wider rims to better support the sidewall.

Thanks sounds like Michelin PSS is the way to go! Is anyone running different brands for front and rear? The Conti sportcontact 3's on the front have 80% life left. Should I get 4 new PSS or wait and replace the fronts when needed?

Here's what I got when I picked up this car from Vivid
Front: 20x8.5 rims with Toyo T1R Proxes 235/30/20
Rear: 20x9.5 rims with Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta 285/25/20
I wore down my rear tires and was only going to get another set of Vreds until I needed to replace all four, then I'd get Michelins. But I found out too late that I had a gash in the sidewall of my front tire so I ended up going with the exact same setup again.

Ya, 255's are the OE rear tire sizes.
You can fit up to 275's on a 9" wide wheel.
I swapped out all 4 tires so I can get the full PSS experience. lol
Its totally up to you though, if the Contis have 80% life I would just keep them on and replace the rears with the Super Sports.
Ive ran 3 sets of 275's on the OEM 18's. No problems at all.
Toyo T1R's run narrow so you are able to get away running the 255/285 combo. You would run into rubbing issues if you ran the same size Conti's or Michelin's (PS2/PSS).
You can fit up to 275's on a 9" wide wheel.

Just be aware that if you change the width and offset you're going to change the camber and toe. Since the C63 has no rear camber adjustment, you're stuck with what you end up with unless you want to spend a few bucks on additional suspension parts (dog bones, etc).

There you go bro....the first pic is the one with the type of adjuster. I believe its a M10 or M12 size...that one is for the toe adjustment. The second pic shows the camber adjustment eccentric bolt. You cannot see the front of the bolt in this pic, its hard enoug to get your M10, let alone my cell phone, but its the same as the toe bolt on the head. Now keep in mind when you make this adjustment its a little tricky to reach, you need a flex head wrench and a M10 or M12 socket head. Very tight!!!
