Tons of pics from the Yorkville Exotic Car show
The YorkVille Exotic car show is an awesome concept! They shut down some streets in the upscale neighborhood of Yorkville and set up a red carpet walk-way for show-goers to browse incredible exotics from private collections. There were supposed to be 170 cars at this years show but it felt like more...in any case, there were some stunners.
Walking toward the show, i came upon a new AMG ML63 in front of the Holt Renfrew flagship store...a good sign!
Then a half block later, a BMZ Z8!!!! That's Yorkville for you..and i'll have more pics of the area later..
A view before entering the red carpet
And the red carpet itself...i think i have the right shoes for the show!
huge crowd!
No surprise, my first stop was the Mercedes - AMG section...SLR!
Crazy hood
Let's see what's underneath
Nice interior too
SLS Roadster
and more AMGs, new
and old
Ok, staying with German cars...my favourite car of the show! A RUF slantnose!
Both Porsche and Porsche Design had booths set up
A Panemera
I ran into my frined Ilker of Sportscarboutique...note the Hermes store behind us lol
the SCB GT3RS has clearly had some track time
GT3s in every colour
Caymann
Old school 968s

my wife bananas! :D
sweet pics RL.
Those cobras are sooooo sweet! the Viper is bada$$ too! Any representation from the C63 (a BS maybe)? although the car beside the SLS roadster looks kinda like one.
Lastly.... I think i'm semi scarred for life now... when I see another porsche i'll see those eyelashes on it.

RL ur the man when comes the time to sharing pics of Toronto Auto Show of all sorts. It's simply awesome to see that many exotics in one street.
Was it held by Italian week? We had something similar here in Ottawa with the Ferrari parade, but nothing like overthere. Lol!
Who said Toronto was in economic recession? Lol

Btw, the ML63 looks weak compared to the old ones.. It's missing the fender flares, a trademark of the ML63 in my opinion.

thanks..i enjoy doing such reviews.
and speaking of quality pictures, it was a HUGE advantage that the show was outdoors! i have done A LOT of show reviews (not car related) where the indoor lighting was abysmal...even the Toronto autoshow pics i posted last time were somewhat challenging with the lighting.
apparantly the Yorkville show has been going on for years but i only found out about it after missing last year's show..i am glad i caught it this year and i will definitely go to the future shows...heck, i might even display my car
