Great comparison 
Chris Harris really knows what he's doing and what people want to know about these cars.
In such reviews, it's all about the feel of the car and not how fast it does a 1/4 mile run.
To me the new RS4 is a stunning car, the looks are amazing, but I wouldn't buy it.

i had the RS5 for a while, and the only thing that it has going for it that i prefer over the MB, is the general feel inside the car, cant explain it, but it just feels like quality ! my c class is less than a year old and the door arm rest squeeks at any bump and any touch .. just feels cheapo !

Both are great cars but given the choice id go with the C63 estate hands down.
Love the RS4 though, if it had more torque and a 6MT option then I would be really tempted to own one. lol

The B7 RS4 was pretty special. I was tempted to trade in my C63 for one after a test drive but ultimately decided against it since the interior felt dated and it was overall a smaller car.
If I absolutely had to have a 6-speed manual, it would be tough to decide between the B7 RS4 and E92 M3.
