AnyStream/Cartronics - Gone! - Any recommendations?

I have an '09 C63, and ipod interface is just unusable.

I want to stream bluetooth music to my MM/HK system, and have verified I have the 3.5mm audio input jack next to my glove box. I'm going to surface mount it next to the iPod wire in the glove box, and have seen a few Bluetooth streaming solutions (nothing as slick as the AnyStream with ipod connector).

Any recommendations? I was looking at the BlackBerry Remote Stereo Gateway (works with any current Bluetooth phone). Then I found one that is built into the Cigarette lighter (Griffin Technology BlueTrip AUX), but would rather gather some person experiences from these.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I don't have one. But what I've read is that you just plug it into the ipod cable, and it connects to your phone via bluetooth.

Doesn't work with my 2010 E350, E63 or 2011 GL450

Good luck if you decide to purchase them.

Just realized it is the same device originally linked.

I'm using this in my 2009 C63 today and works well.

I have seen a product, it is called CoolStream Bluetooth Receiver. It connects right to your ipod wire in the glovebox and you just pair it with your smart phone - it doesn't even need to be an iphone, any smartphone with bluetooth will work. It sells on Amazon for $39.99. Check out their website WWW.CoolStream.CO The sound quality is great, I love mine and there's no installation worries or mechanic involved.

I personally use the BlackBerry gateway and it works excellent. Not only for the car but for many other applications. One thing to note is that the aux input in our cars is pure junk. There is a lot of feedback from the input. It's like some Joe head put this thing together, very bad. I'm gonna pull mine apart and see what kind of materials was used and replace it.
