Vids of my cat and res delete w/ straight pipes

Decided to delete both my cat and resonator and put a straight pipe in it.

Sounds really good to me from the inside. Not sure if I'm liking how it sounds on the outside for others. Not as smooth. Will try to have my friend do more flybys in the day and see.

First cold start of the day

Wow that certainly sounds nice. I'd imagine it probably sounds way louder and better in person though. It must suck or be really great to be your neighbor haha.

No x-pipe. I thought about it, but I wanted to hear how it sounded straight pipe first. Maybe down the line I will get an x-pipe.

Cost me $450 with full SS. I think maybe on the high side, but I wanted quality metal.

That is not bad at all, compare to long tube headers.

apparently the gains you get with LTH over just a plain cat-delete is only about 15-20whp! LTH aren't worth the extra money in my opinion.

Oops... Sorry guys. I just reread my post. I only did secondary cat delete and resonator.

I meant both as in I had to cut two secondary off. Sorry for the confusion.

But if I had to do it again I probably just cut bought primary and secondary off and leave the resonator.

because the primary and secondary cat are the restrictive part of the exhaust system. The resonator is a straight through design with a built in h-pipe. Although I'm not even sure it is possible to hack away the primary cat without removing the headers completely. If that is the case, I would just put a LTH on.

I used Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD 10, Still learning, but the pixelating/blurring effect is a pain to use. You have to do it frame by frame unless the object is fixed.

Yea I noticed my other vid had my plate. Mainly did it to learn how to blur for future mexico fun runs. =P

And nope! but we did just get him in Houston!
I already got a few people that thought I was him. I let them take picture of my car and post it on fb pretending they saw him. lol

Then I had some guys in a Porsche chase me down. They were all smiling and trying to stare in my car. Not sure if they liked my car or thought I was Jeremy. lol
