Just got the 2013 sedan

Hey guy i just got the 63 sedan in platinum silver and im loving it. I previously had a carrera s and have to tell you this is amazing to drive. I wanted to know about where i could buy rear fender flares for the car because its a bit thin in my opinion and also which websites have the best exterior, interior and performance upgrade kits for the car. Im new to this so would appreciate any help. I also wanted to buy carbonfiber mirros and the rear diffuser.

Congrats on the car! Post some pictures!

Renntech and bocadesign have some rear flares, plue there are pictures of someoned doing a BS kit on a sedan. Most do a custom widebodythough. Do some research on different tunes and you will find lots on the forum. As for exterior mods look to Vorsteiner, Revozport, etc. You will find lots by searching the forum for particular parts on the car.

Thanks for the reply, will post some pics soon. I love the car, i had a question as its the first time im driving an amg. When i move the car from sop when going to second gear its a bit rough like jerking a bit, but when i press harder on the gas it goes away. Is that normal? Or should i go and get the car retuned at the dealer?

I can't remember the brand, but I know there is a rear diffuser that extends into the bottom that functions like an under wing. Shifting wise that's normal as my GT-R does the same thing. Congrats on your new car.

Congrats on the C63.

The jerkiness of the 1-> 2 shift is from the MCT trans which has a dual clutch arrangement in the place of the torque converter to transfer power from the engine to the automatic transmission.

saad911,

Which mode are you in "C", "S", "S+", "M"?
Is your engine oil and water at normal temperatures?
Are you using he paddles to shift?

I believe you're referring to revozport - I have those rear diffusers on my sedan. Not sure about fitment on the 2012+ C63...but the OP could shoot them an email and inquire. Congrats on the GT-R btw - I'm hoping to make the same jump as you next year.

Combined with the side skirt extensions, they give the car a more aggressive stance - see my sig pic (I also have a picture thread on here: https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-amg-w...-c63-pics.html.) The car looks a little bit wider from the rear but the fenders are still too weak IMO.

Congrats on the purchase!

It happens in C mode as soon as the gear shifts n i press on the gas a bit more its like theres a jerking sound. The oil and water are all at normal temperatures i got worried a little so im going to the dealers tomorrow to check it out. You guys think it needs a re tune?
In regards to the kits, theres a website called www.c63shop.com that sells diffusers as well as many other carbon fiber oem replacement items i might check that out.
Another thing, if i get the car tuned with a programmer, could the company find out? I dont want to loose my warranty.
P.S i raced a rs4 on the road today and beat him badly, the power is amazing on this car.

BK63amg you car looks amazing, i love the touch ups. Did u consider putting wider tires. My tires are 255 at the back and im thinking of either putting 275's or 10mm spacers. Where did you purchase your items from?

Congratz on the ride!
You should be able to fit 275's on the rear of the stock rim no problem.

Thanks! I am running a 265 on a 10" rim - was afraid of rubbing with a 275. On my stock wheels I run 265 with a 8MM spacer and it looks perfect.

I ordered my parts from a number of different venders here:

Arkym front lip/diffuser:
DCT Motorsports
Revozport side and rear skirts: GMP Performance (Matt)
Forgestar F14's: D2 Motorsports (though there are a number of vendors here that can help you)
H&R Springs: 3WD Distribution
Spacers: Vivid Racing
LEDs: Azn Optics

Great choice on the color - you're going to have a great time modding!

Thanks, i love the car.
Im still having issues with the gear shifts. On low rpm on any gear the car like jerks vibrates a bit. Till i press a bit more it goes. Only on c. I got the car checked and they said everything is fine but im still worried. Anyone else feels the same problem?
Do you guys know if i install a chip software where i can return the car to stock anytime will void my warranty?

as long as MB doesn't notice that it was flashed the warranty will be fine, plus they have to prove that whatever failed was in direct relation to the modification that you made
