2012 C63 AMG Black Series
ADV.1 5.1 vs. Forgestar CF5
Both Wheels are of similar style but very different price points. What do you guys think? Is it worth the extra $$$? I wanted to put pictures up but am having some trouble...

Personally I'd save the $$$ and buy the CF5, and apply the savings to a set of Michelin Pilot Super Sports...

ADV.1 wheels are forged, Forgestar (contrary to the name) are cast, hence the price difference between the 2 wheels. Forgestar is a subsidary of iForged, a higher end forged construction wheel brand.

I've owned wheels from all 3 brands, and really haven't had any issues with any. You can debate for 3 pages over if forged is worth it over cast for the huge price differences.

I'd save some money and go for CF5 too. Or if you like ADV1 I would ask them if they are still manufacturing the flowspec.

Flowspec was a cast version of the forged 5.1's.

Aparently the adv1 flowspecs are rebranded niche wheels though, so maybe also take a look at that. I have a feeling that will be cheapest
