A few go-fast mods for my C63 BS(dyno video)

just a preview now, have them being installed today and tomorrow...not doing much, just a header/xpipe/tune setup...don't really need anymore than that...this was from the baseline dyno. Car put down 378 on this dyno, which dynojet corrected is right at 420whp (this dyno runs consistently 10% lower than the dynojets do)and on line with what a few others of these have put down baseline. Ill put up some more pics and an after dyno video in the next few days when the car is finished

Ran the car in 4th gear...he tried 5th gear for one or two pulls and they pretty much came up with the same numbers.

Headers are officially in...car was dynoed without the new tune, and it picked up an additional 25whp and 25wtq across the whole rev band, which is very good to see given the tune isn't even in yet...

They had a bit of a problem initially with the tune, and will probably take until Friday to get it perfect, so should hope to have a final number sometime before Friday afternoon

So who makes the headers? And you ran the car on the dyno with headers and a stock tune? I would have thought that would run seriously lean....

As I said a few posts ago, am using a company called Bavarian solutions that is out near me in new York. And they only ran the car with the stock tune really just to get a small feel for what the power gains could end up being, and the fact that the car gained 25/25 all across the powerband with just the headers is encouraging of the power it will make after the tune is added. The tune should be in by Friday morning and then will get some concrete final numbers.

OK, I saw the earlier post, just didn't know if Bavarian made their own headers in-house, or they simply resold another brand. Are yours 4-1 long tubes, try Y? Just looking for options, I had long tubes on my last c, so curious. thx.

yup, sorry for the confusion. and yes, they are 4-1 long tubes.

Got the tune dialed in today, so will definitely have the car back tomorrow.
