Will this work on the Euro airboxes which are apparently slightly larger? I see the system screws on the existing bottom box.

I actually used the Euro ROW air boxes so they work fine. We are still trying to complete the air box design so we can get this package on the market. Thank you for your interest.

This would be awesome if it comes in carbon fiber.

I like where this is headed.

I'm curious though, because I'm a data nerd, do you have any logs with it installed measuring kPa at the airbox or the Y at wide open throttle, rather than the manifold? I bet with this setup the kPA is near atmospheric which means little to no restriction.

I thought you have a source for carbon fiber fabricator Keith? Why can't you get the modded hoods from the same people that make your vented hoods?

Suncoast Creations helped me build the new one piece Ram Air hood and they do not make anything in Carbon Fiber. I needed them because they were local and I could work with them better. I know the guys in China can duplicate this hood in carbon fiber but they require an initial order of 10 plus all the freight etc...... involved. Then there's the air box challenges etc......so I chose to keep it domestic.
At this point I don't want to take sales away from Suncoast because they were so helpful and are going to be offering the package soon.

I believe I have a domestic manufacturer that will duplicate this hood in carbon fiber but its VERY expensive and would be a one off type of deal. Lest get the FRP hoods out and sold first. Then we can look at C/F if Suncoast doesn't have them offered at that point in time.

Thanks Again,
Keith

I did a complete write up from a track rental we did but I can't find it.

If I recall the 60' and ET improved and the trap was 1-2mph higher with the new Ram Air hood vs the C/F vented hood. Keep in mind I was using the heavy steel modified hood vs the light weight C/F vented hood also. I don't have any way to test the air pressure etc... All I can give you is the track data.

Thanks for explaining. When's the expected date for the first batch? Might have to looking into this instead of the CF vented hood.

We hope to have the air boxes ready by the end of October. Then produce the hoods. I would expect for them to be ready by Thanksgiving.

Its thanksgiving. Any update?
Do you see any challenge fitting it to a Weistec equipped car?

I actually spoke with Steve at Weistec about this set up and he was glad to see an option that will give the S/C larger filters with more air opportunity. They are still working on the final fit but hopefully by the end of the year. The air boxes are taking a little longer than planned. It took two shots to get the dimensions right. I believe they are in the home stretch. Thank you for your interest.

Looks awesome, cheers
