Sheep! You have the cutest avatar btw. My friends Love it. But yea. Seriously I have to visit HK on my next international trip! My chinese ancestry is from there and thanks. I will most definitely be taking you up on your offer for the PM in coming months. My cousin is actually in the army and just re-enlisted. I have no idea what she does but I know its something along the lines of the movie hurt locker? She is out in Bragg right now. But good luck with your Ph.D.! That stuff is crazy as well. I am sure another question will pop up and I will message you soon enough. Take care always

Avatar...too small...
Thanks for the advice on the phone thing. I will definitely think about doing the Skype thing when I head on over there.

Oh and I added bigger pics so you can see them clearer than my avatar. I will probably take those down a little later just because its creepy having my pictures up and that big. Plus no car in the pic so it might be a little off topic.

my wife bananas! :D
pretty pictures From an old guy... I would've actually said not to feed the curiosities haha

and I understand about your parents being paranoid... but really, Germany is a pretty safe place, my brother just had his honeymoon there and they had a blast. Only thing they commented about was the amount of beer / meat that was consumed... had to go on a diet once they returned to japan lol

Also, HK is definitely a great place to consider for a future trip. My family is still there so I go back quite often... actually in 2 months

Thanks fung63! And I am sure you are not that old... haha but the funny thing that happened was that me and some friends were talking about what all the boys could be imagining. You know like I am an old fat guy sitting at a computer with his beer saying things. Or I am an old menopausal woman who is trying to have some fun with some boys. haha. I don't know just other crazy scenarios that only crazy teeny girls would come up with. So I decided to post these for a little to appease any curiosity. At least that way they know its for real. Hah.

Lol good to know I will be getting some steak there! And funny but I am not too hot on the beer. Maybe I'll find one I like? I am more of a girly drink/ginotonic/wine kinda gal. So at least, well hopefully no beer belly for me. Yea my mom still has all the asian superstition/paranoia status going. Its worse because it's just me and her. But if my dad was with us we'd probably just sit in a hotel all day. He's beyond paranoid. Like he won't let me go to New York because there are lots of homeless people. I just laugh and say, as if there are no homeless people in San Diego, Righhht. haha.

OOhh! Super lucky! You will have to give me tips when I go there! I am in love with dum sum! That is one of the reasons I really want to go. Nothing crazy like chicken feet, but definitely some har gow and the sweet tofu that you add the sweet sauce to? Super yum! That is what I get every Sunday at a local authentic Hong Kong style dim sum place! Have a safe trip while there! And post pics of any of the interesting cars you come across, heard they have some pretty nice ones out there

Actually I probably wouldn't have posted pix online either...I was more being a smart @ss

Yes, Germany is probably one of the safest countries in the world now. The have the freaking Autobahn! And they also make some of the best firearms in the world.

Hehe I took them down. Just made a point to put them up for a little in case anyone really was curious. I dunno I would be curious but then I am a immature little girl who should probably know better. Don't fan the flame as they say...

Hah I am glad everyone on here at least knows germany is one of the safest countries. But on the turn side the autobahn probably isn't that safe for the not so great driver. Good thing I play a lot of video games for practice And also maybe I'll come home with a gloc 9 since I want one. I have no idea where those are made though. haha.

True, the autobahn is safe for a reason. The police there will equally cite for unsafe driving as well as not yielding to faster traffic...which I wish they would do here.

Glocks are made in Austria, but I wouldn't be surprised is S&W had some hand in the manufacturing.

Way off topic: My pic is Poe (or Bo) from Stray Sheep by Fuji TV, and you can watch some of it in
(no idea they dubbed it into English.) I can't go into exact details but let say my work are similar to your cousin but at a different level. Good luck with her re-enlistment and let me know if she is deploying.

Hahaha that's funny because she always says the same thing. She is always like I can't tell you what I do but this is basically what I do. So I am always like woah. haha. I don't think she is deploying, at least not at this point. She literally re-enlisted 2 days ago.

But I will totally check out Bo during some down time from studying. Soo Cute!

If its the same steel ones I installed it would be totally worth it. I hated every minute (had them on for maybe 3 days before I bought these one) the plastic ones were on.

@sha1na and dboutros:

http://www.mercedes-amg.com/#/acc-c-class

It's the last one on the list along with part numbers. I have it on my old C63 and its about $55 EACH... It's worth it but I would recommend a dealer install, as I didn't get all 4 quite right in their heights. Plus I pushed one inside the door panel and end up needing a trip to the dealership.

hmm, thats a bit pricey if you ask me. I bought the set off of ebay like many of the forum users here. Install was absolutely easy on the front doors (which Shaina is getting a coupe so its only the front which are an easy screw in screw out) and it was about $50 USD for the whole set of four.

Don't get me wrong I would always go OEM straight from AMG when I can, but this doesnt justify the price since the ebay ones are the right parts, very high quality, and look exactly the same.

wow...$55 each for door pins is ridiculous! Definitely not worth it in my opinion. The standard ones are crap but I don't care about them that much to want to upgrade. Perhaps I'm in the minority on this one.

Hi boys! Thanks for all your input. I think I'll order the metal door pins they will match my aluminum trim. I'm in like technically 85k what's another $50 at this rate, right? Haha. I will add the pins along with my LSD. Thanks for all the advice again!

shaina,
Welcome to the forum.
Medical school? What type of doctor are you thinking about becoming if you finish Med School?
You are very fortunate to be able to drive a C63 at this stage in your life. It truly is a great car to have for an "all-around sporty vehicle".
My first C63 did not have LSD, but my current C63 has LSD. The newer car feels a lot more planted than the older car while accelerating thru a turn. This is likely safer and is more efficient with the LSD. Without LSD it seems so much easier in breaking traction in all of the lower gears. This, while not efficient, is a lot of fun. Without LSD you do not have to worry about the LSD fluid maintenance. So depending on what you prefer, ordering LSD is likely a personal choice. I remember the excitement when I first spec'd a C63 in 2008, and even more so when it finally came to the dealer, and drove it for the first time. FUN TIMES! Take the time to enjoy it!
Cheers!
