I have panamera Turbo to be honest it cool and great car but the seats is pain in the *** when you drive it for more than 2 hours other than that it rocks !

But try both of them before you buy

I suggest you get CLS63 i will get one in a month i hope

I think panameras are ugly and the only reason they sell is because it says porsche on it.

E63 is in 2 years from now. I am buying this vehicle to hold me until the Viper ACR comes out.
I want a new toy now lol
As stated in my original link, beauty is subjective so if I am considering the P car, that means I ldig the look.

2002 Mercedes SL500
Smile Panamera Turbo S

I had the chance to drive my uncles 2012 Panamera Turbo S for the weekend a few weeks back. I'm a Mercedes guy to the core. Have never been a fan of the way Porsche designs there interior. I own a 2002 SL500 and have had a 91 500sl as well. Let me tell you that they struck magic with the interior design of the Panamera. It truly feels like siting in a cockpit. That combined with the 0-60 in 3.3 sec, I'm surprised it did not grow wings and take to the sky! Downfalls are too many electronic gadgets to break down. The turbo dose eat up a little oil so its always good to top it off. My only wish is they took the interior style of this four door Panamera and put it in a two door model. Hope this helps.

+1. It's awesome driving car, but boy, is it fugly. Then again, I don't care much for the look of CLS either. If it's just big 4D sedans, I'd go with either M5 or RS6.

Is the RS6 due statewide anytime soon?

+1...I'm also not really a fan of either. My preference would be M5 or S8.

I vote S8.
The new one is fantastic and easily upgradable to 600+hp.

Plus, that interior.

Might not have as much street presence as a Panny or CLS, but that's why you are getting the Viper

I happen to like the look of the Panamera more than the CLS. The first CLS was a design breakthrough and the current is just "ehh."

I like the look of the CLS more. Plus, I think you'll get more power out of a tuned '13 CLS than a tuned '10 Panamera Turbo.

I second this, as I was the same and NEVER liked any P-cars before, but the interior of the Panamera is miles ahead of any MBs. Heck I have already seen at least 3 Panamera around CMU, with a TT regularly park just a block from me. The downside is that the Panamera really isn't that good in terms of cargo space compare to the CLS, but if you can over look this than the Panamera is a good choice. People keep saying it's ugly, but again ask yourself this: do you use the exterior or the interior of a car most?

It does feel more a cockpit but I must admit that after 3 years of being in my little C, I felt the CLS was more open cockpit and the outward viewing position was better.
The interior of the P car does feel special (it'd better with an MSRP of $155K). It now comes down to $94K for the Panamera and $100K for the fully optioned CLS with PP.
The price difference will be eaten up by an extra one year warranty for the panamera.
The tires are cheaper on the CLS (19 vs 20) and only the rears will need to be replaced often whereas on the Pcar, dealer tech advised all 4 tires last about 10-15K miles.
I feel like the CLS is calling my name a bit more lol
