A tune and shifting

On a side note, I personally think this is the absolute best sounding exhaust setup.
It's quite unpleasant to drive in S mode sometimes with a passenger now cause its so rough. have to leave it in C.
When racing or just hauling ***, the quick shifting in both S and M really do make a difference.

on a somewhat related topic, in C mode does it rev match the downshifts still? and does it start off in 2nd in C?
But from what I was told the ECU and TCU are separate. Thus our ECU tunes do nothing the TCU. As I have had my dealer update the TCU separately than the ECU when it was in for service as I was told an update was available.
The only thing I can think of is the increased power at the top end having it cut off between shifts make it seem like more of a bang when the power is put back on.
I know on my older C63 with the torque converter you could tell some gear changes shifted faster than others and smoother this probably had to do with the mechanical layout.
I think its ridiculous to say a change in comfort, you might want to get your transmission checked out these benz transmissions are smooth as silk, when compared to say the older M3 SMG or Ferrari 360/430 SMG transmissions.
With my new MCT the gear changes seem to be more consistent in speed. ie gear 1-2 2-3 3-4 all change at speeds that I can no perceive a difference. Now MCT is not as smooth around town since it has 5 clutch plates which can cause roughness starting out and stopping in 1st gear.
