Help! Colour conundrum.
Do I wait for the white, or do I go for the black? Any pictures of same spec cars would be appreciated, and just general consensus.
Cheers folks!

Palladium has a metallic spray added to it, I wouldn't call it dull. It sparkles nicely in the night and day. Has to be seen in person.

Have a white 12 - love it.
Cant go wrong - however I'll tell you when the black is detailed, there is nothing like it. Dripping wet. Personally, I'm not a fan of Magnetite or Obsidian Black though, it just looks "dirty" to me compared to jet black.
As for the white....I agree, I think on the facelifted models white is the way to go. The contrast with the black looks gorgeous. And if you have the nerve, the red/black interior + black exterior accents (cf spoiler, black front air dam, etc) + red taillights/red calipers really looks amazing. Im biased, but to me that's the #1 combo by far.

Same for the OEM 19's in matte black, be ready to clean them very often... that's why i decided on the silver/polished version.
If you want white, be patient and wait for it. White is BEAUTIFUL in person on this car. I do like my black but it hides the lines and only looks nice when clean. It is also a lot of work to keep swirls away and you need to be very careful with it. White is easy, beautiful and really looks great on C63 coupes and sedans... especially the coupe with the pano roof.
You can't show a BS in a color discussion because the car makes any color look spectacular!!!!

You are right, OB is a beautiful color but so are the whites. The main difference is work required (for a DD car that is maybe more relevant) and preference. Keeping your BS swirl free in sunlight will involve a bit of work and very careful care... I personally don't mind (actually enjoy it) the careful care, polishing, etc of my OB car. Many wouldn't want that. Regardless of maintenance, white is amazing on these cars (Barry's BS is a prime example) and easier to keep looking good.
All of that said... it is pure personal preference. My only advice to OP is decide what you like and then be patient to get it. You will regret compromising.
The more aggressive Mode Carbon rear lip is also on the list, I'm just disappointed no one makes a blacked out grill for the face lift
