Park assist also a lazer jammer?
I notice when I drive in the vicinity of some electrical frequencies such as electric doors in shopping centre car parks my parking sensors sometimes go off, so it got me thinking our parking sensors might also create interference to Laser Speed guns like the G9 Gauardian and the Laser Pro Park systems which are purpose build Jammers with duel use as park assist.
Time to get laser jammers when spring comes..

The problem with jamming a laser signal is that you effectively have to 'flood' the receiver with the correct spectrum of light, such that it can't make a valid assessment of your velocity. Usually, in doing so, the receiver generates an error code, which merely alerts the officer manning the unit that you're probably running a jammer. Which in one of those states means you'd probably get a larger fine than the speeding ticket.

Having said all of that, I'm not against owning one or using one because it is no different than deciding to speed. That is, you decide to break the law speeding and if you get caught you pay the price. What I don't understand is why any place (state or province) would allow you to use a device that enables you to break a law and hide that fact. Kind of like this... I'm robbing a convenience store and a cop sees me so I decide to use a tazor on the cop so he can't "catch" me. Well, that would be illegal and a lazer jammer isn't really any different (other than severity).
I guess that's why lazer jammers have PDC functionality so they have a purpose other than breaking a law and then it is up to the user to determine whether to use it in that capacity.

Have you ever seen anyone pulled over for that? Passing on right? etc.
Well now I will pay attention to laser jammer laws per state.
