Problem with Eurocharged MyGenius handheld programmer

My genius device is now saying Error E010001 And a handle exception [427], this only happened after i updated it, was working fine before?? Now its not reading the genius device etc. Can some one advise please. Is the software update mentioned previously something different to the flashpoint client i.e a new software and do i need to get it from my manager (i am only using a slave system at the moment and it is a genius 1)

Very surprised as Jerry at Eurocharged is a class act. They spent over a month and many hours with me on the phone, with My Genius in Italy, trying to figure it out. They sent me several new tune files, and did several remote firmware upgrades to the device. When it became apparent nothing was going to get it to work, I returned the My Genius and Jerry sent me a refund on my credit card. Both Eurocharged and OE (also a good bunch of guys) can but a tune on it through the pins of the ECU without cracking it open. You just have to pop it out. Takes less than 2 minutes.

Stories like that are the reasons I chose Eurocharged in the first place and I'm glad it worked out for you, unfortunately my experience so far has been nothing short of horrible with a complete lack of communication and inability to do the job. OE Tuning on the other hand was excellent to deal with, always got back to me quickly, provided phone calls and emails every step of the way including tracking info, device came ready to go and the tune was done faster than promised.
Eurocharged on the other hand has had my MyGenius back since 3/19 and I still haven't seen a refund

I also just received the MyGenius Programmer from Eurocharged but it tells me it needs to be activated by the reseller! ive been trying to get a hold of Eurocharged but i guess they dont work on fridays!! I soo wanted to get this working for the weekend!

Read Error
I'm getting this error in the read cycle even after Dimsport sent a new abl file. OE Tuning are planning to send me a different cable they feel worked before. I'm not sure what the answer is though OE will refund amount if it does not work. My car is a 2007 E320 V6 Diesel Bluetec sedan.
Any clues will help.

Pinebaron. The Dimsport unit has some glitches with some MBZ ECU's. It's not the tune. Worse case you can take the ECU out. (5 minute DYI) and have it pin tuned. They don't crack the case, just use the external pins to put a tune on it.

Thanks. I guessed that but was hoping Dimsport can provide a fix. Have not even reached the tune stage, still stuck on ECU read. I'll wait for OE Tuning and Dimsport to give up before I try anything else drastic. I have yet to hook up with an owner of a V6 CDI/Bluetec who has had an ECU remap from anywhere.

Eurocharged Performance ML63 and TT lambo
Apparently ECU in my car cannot be read via OBD2 port, it is locked. The only other option is to remove the ECU and send it for remapping, which I am not keen on doing since I am aware the ECU is unusally sealed pretty tight with epoxy and there is risk of destroying it while trying to get to it.

Just send your ECU to your tuner and ask them to "pin" tune it. No need for them to crack the case open. The down side is you can't switch back and forth between tunes on your own.

It seems completely random. I know Eurocharged, OE and Dimsport have spent considerable time trying to figure out what renders the handheld readers inoperable. Eurocharged must have spent at least 20 hours with me and Dimsport trying different programming patches etc. But nothing worked.
