Lightening the car would make it quicker. Not really sure there's much more you can do beside tearing apart the engine for a full build.

I see on one of the other threads a while back someone was to try the meth system? Wonder if that really works?

Take the spare out and get a Braille 15lbs battery, B2015.

Renntech has an intake that's supposed to help. I don't think it's $$ worth it.

Headers and a tune is lots for most guys. $ave for the blower if your more serious about going quick.

Welcome to my dilemma. Moar power past Long Tube headers/Tune/Airboxes jumps to 15k+ with a supercharger.

I'm probably going to just lighten the car as much as I can and wait for a E63 bi-turbo to get into next.

The blower will cost you less unless you tire of the C63. At least that is what I'll tell the wife.

Better, lighter brakes likes Evosports rotors or carbon ceramic brakes.
Also lighter wheels.

Lighter brakes, wheels, and body parts. A reduction in rotational mass is a huge improvement.

I'm surprised there aren't more options for intake manifolds on these motors. Would love to see and hear an ITB setup on these motors!

Going to be hard to beat the stock manifold, unless you want to get the SLS one with the velocity stacks. Renntech had one on their test car, but I haven't seen anything about it being released.. The gains vs cost were probably way out of whack.

The stock manifold has flaps that shorten and lengthen the intake runners with rpm and load.

You would need custom tuning, as the ECM controls all this.

I think the stock unit does a good job.

Put lighter components like brake rotors and wheels and battery. Get a race gas tune.

Are you defining performance solely as acceleration ability? Do you care about cornering ability or track performance?

Pure aceleration only... I have seen the liquid motion oil filters.. Does that make a difference. According their site it makes 50whp gains?

I would imagine that off the line, more grip would help so maybe doing the BS conversion and stuffing a wider tire out back would help as well...but at that price point you could probably just do a blower
