Unofficial AMG NorCal meet - Jan 19th
Hi folks,
Hopefully, this good weather will keep up, but below are the details so far...
When: Saturday, January 19th at 9:00am
Plan to depart for the ride at 9:30am sharp
Where: The beginning rally point is in San Ramon on the map. Right now, I'm thinking of meeting at the Home Depot. I'll update this page if that changes. End point is roughly Grizzy Peak above the Caldecott Tunnel, but we'll continue on to lunch depending on what you guys want (see below).
For folks who want to continue on after lunch, we'll head to the Berkeley Marina for that meet. https://mbworld.org/forums/events-ga...1-19-13-a.html
Route: The route is approximately 30 miles and should take us an hour or so depending on how many times we stop. There are plenty of gas stations in San Ramon, so please be filled up before we take off.

So, the lunch question is, Greek or Dim Sum?

I'll probably meet you guys there at the Marina, since I have a CHP exam that morning. I won't be able to make the drive up with you guys, but hopefully I can meet some of you guys at the Marina.

Ok, so unless we run into some weird circumstances, Simply Greek should be open at 11am for our brunch/lunch before we potentially continue onto the Marina meet. Here's the address. Parkin will be street only.

I overslept this morning, so I'll just meetup with everyone at the Marina. This might be better anyway, as my girl wants to go checkout the car meetup there. Have a fun drive guys!

I'm here. We're across from the Home Depot entrance in the far corner of the parking lot.

Thanks to Sidv22 and biglee73 for coming along for the ride. We also ran into anthonymckay and farhadahmad at the Marina.
You guys missed out on a very "spirited" ride. I imagine biglee or I will post up some videos soon.

How is this event? Was thinking of coming tomorrow, though the 8:00am part makes me a bit sad, haha. Is it worth checking out?
Anyway, bummed I missed running into you today! Met up with CoolBDPhenom03 at the marina for a bit and then walked around to check everyone's rides out. Couldn't believe how packed that place was! Was also surprised at the lack of AMG presence there.

The Marina was way too packed; reminded me of the import car show days I attended years ago. I was behind CoolBDPhenom03 for a lap around the lot and was able to check out a few rides.
