I am planning to buy AFE drys for my 2nd set of air filters later, probably in 2 months when my K&N needs to be cleaned I'll probably throw them out.

I live in Canada so the official AFE site don't mail there too, so I found this site to buy them; I think its worldwide

http://www.horsepowerfreaks.com/part...s-Benz/C63_AMG

You can go try this site and tell me if its good

When putting these in for OEM, does it automatically get rid of the charcoal filters? Or how do you do that?

You have to slide them out, it's not the same piece. The Charcoals look like filter paper with bits of charcoal in it. Just be careful when sliding it out, you can break it (the paper is pretty stiff). There is a video on here somewhere about how to take them out. Another thing to be careful of is to make sure you get a good seal on the filter to the housing. If it's not, it'll let too much air in and it'll give you a CEL. Search for the video on Youtube...I believe it's there. Good luck!

home the point
Why insist on AFE? Not trying to say AFE is bad (I have them on my car) but there's not a lot of difference between brands of air filters, at least none I can see. If availability is an issue I would just get the ones I can get my hands on.

except these are a bit over priced.

hit me up for a contact with great pricing, I can get them for around 120ish shipped in the US, and he can probably do international

$30 difference.... and i'd rather have weistec as a brand than AFE with their experience with the M156

hardly a bank breaker.

2012 C63 AMG Black Series
I had my AFE given to me by a member on here after his wife totalled his AMG after just 2 months of ownership! Nothing bad to say about them what so ever. The sound changed slightly and thats about it.
