Resonator Delete / Charcoal Delete with Drop In and Warranty Concerns
Should I be concerned with voiding my warranty by doing AFE Dry Flow Drop in filters with the Charcoal Delete and removing the Exhaust Resonator? Just want to be sure that this won't effect it if I'm to have engine bolt issues or engine issues in the future...
God forbid there would ever be an issue resulting in my car having to be towed to MB and them refusing warranty work..
Also, I am going to be re-extending my MB warranty and I think they have to inspect it? or maybe not? Maybe I can just do it all over the phone? This is like 3000-4000 $ and I don't want to be **** out of luck.
Thanks all

no you'll be fine. Non of what you did affects performance. im sure most techs wouldnt even notice the charcoals missing. muchless what purpose they even have. As for resonators thats like changing the muffler. It will ruin the warranty on the exhaust - maybe not the cats if it isnt directly connected to them.

Other than sound, the resonator will have no impact on any other issues with your car. Unless they're fools and rip off artists, no. But I'd rather someone who has experience in the US answer that question. Logically, absolutely no way.

If you're really concerned about your warranty, the best advice I can really offer you is NOT to modify it. Everything you do to your car that isn't OEM, you risk the chance of having that part of your warranty voided.
