Waiting ADV.1 Response....

(Updates) Carlos from Adv response this early morning and discuss the issue of the wheels and they have schedule a pickup of the wheels and promise will get it done ASAP! I'm impressed by their quick responses and working efficiency, hopefully the wheel will be done ASAP! To conclude, I might just stay with adv for my future cars!
My dealer double check the invoice plus the email between ADV1 and him, theres no mistake, it indicates clearly that it said
19in ADV15 TF (Application: 2013 Mercedes C63 Coupe)
- Brushed gunmetal centers
- Single Tint Brushed Gunmetal Lips
Here is the invoice:

Here is some of the pic to follow up:

I bet they built the wheel to fit another car in error... I've never seen ADV wheels with such messed up offsets. Call them and get it fixed.

ADV1 hoses another customer.....when are people going to learn???

Do yourself a favor and do a Google query on 360 Forged and 360 Forged ADV1 and let me know what you find out. ADV1 used to be called 360 Forged until they hosed so many people that had to change their name.

Wheels look terrible, hope they make things right but based on their past track record higly doubtful.

How did you come up with the specs you wanted the wheels to be made at? Did you have someone at ADV do it for you? Did you do it yourself and send them the specs you desired? Did the wheels come with all the specs on them?

We see that they don't fit correctly, just why?

Did they possibly build them to Black Series offset?

I didnt provide any specific offset and go with whatever ADV recommend, they should have no issues with this since they make couple wheels for c63

Excellent idea however I am sure they required half up front and that was probably months ago, the scammers at 360...I mean ADV1 really know how to work the system.

The rear maybe, but for the front I dun think so, as black series should have bigger caliper???(Not sure), cuz the front is not clearing the stock (WITHOUT PP) Caliper.

Just figure out the dimensions and offsets and then it'll be quite clear or at least easier to break down and see what is going on.

In the mean time I'd take the wheels off. The rubbing can mess up paint and damage tires. That's what I'd do. My guess is BS offsets though.

I believe the rear is BS offset as well, but what about the front, cuz its not even clearing the stock caliper, Im gonna put the stock wheels back on tmr.....hopefully the 5 miles drive will not f*** up my fender....Thanks for ur advise!

my wife bananas! :D
definitely dont run on those wheels... keep them as new as possible to reduce a potential excuse for non refund/exchange. plus man... if i didnt know and saw your car on the street... i would be laughing all over

but talk with ADV first... let them know and give them a chance to make it right

5 Miles wont hurt a thing. 500 on the other hand could be a different story.

As for the clearance on the calipers.. The entire wheel well could be set up differently. I'm not familiar with the specs/comparisons on the hubs/calipers/discs etc between the BS and normal c63 I'm not sure.

However, if the rears were made to BS spec than the fronts would be too, and that could be all your problems right there.

Yup, I am gonna give them a chance to get it right, i have already talked to my dealer and he will figure out everything by tmr. I am gonna take them right off tmr morning and put the stock wheels back on....THanks for ur advise though...Yeah at the first moment I saw my car, I almost puke....n once I look at it, its like a ricer....

Again, you'll be fine. Just be cautious of what makes you rub. Plenty of people rub quite a bit here I'm sure, but with the tire that far outside the fender I would imagine the damage increases at an exponential rate.

Good luck, let us know what happens

wow sucks to hear! The wheels look great. I had a problem with my trakfunctions also, but they took care of me (you have to be patient though). I bet they built it to the wrong offsets since they havent built this set up for a c63 before(at least your the first I saw with this style adv on a c63). Hopefully things will work out.

rubbing and spacers are not acceptable so you should contact them. (for reference, i had no rubbing on 275 for both my 18 trakfunction and 19 monoblock adv1s).

EDIT: I just spoke to ADV1 and they wanted you to reach out to them. I will PM you their contact info.

As an ADV1 dealer I am confident this will get taken care of if this is their fault. Out of curiosity, do you have an invoice from the dealer you purchased them from? Does it show the year, make, and model of your car?

Your dealer would have also received an invoice from ADV1 showing the exact specs of the wheel and for what car. The dealer than has 24-hours to make any changes or the order is automatically submitted into their queue. I show this to my customers (blacking out my costs) so that ADV1, Acute Performance, and my customers are on the same page.

EXAMPLE

Let me know if you need any help at all.

I believe what you said is totally right, since this is a new configuration, they might not have figured what to really do with it, but the offset is simple, just around ET 50-55 at the rear, how hard is that for an expertise business like ADV1....how long it took you to get urs fixed!

I urge everyone not to be so quick to judge on whose fault it is. Let's give ADV1 at least one business day to figure this out before we crucify them.
